10. This is me, this week. Barely surviving these last weeks of school. Four more school days left and we’ve made it!
9. I really enjoy Kristen Callihan’s writing, and she knocks it out of the park with her new rock star book, Idol. I LOVED this book. Killian is in a world-famous band, but they are on a break and he is not feeling it. He ends up drunk on the heroine’s lawn and she squirts him with a hose to start the book. Liberty is super grumpy (which I loved) but it’s her defense for actually being super lonely. Killian rents the house across the street and they start an unlikely friendship that turns into a SUPER hot romance. She helps him find music again by sharing her love of singing and songwriting. I adored them together. So romantic (and dirty).
I also loved the fact that Callihan puts the reader on stage with the band. You can feel the excitement of the crowd, and the emotions of band mates. She just doesn’t slap the label of rock star on Killian and expect the reader to understand – she let’s us experience it with him. So well done. Highly recommend this one!!

8. Are you sitting down with a Jane Austen book this weekend? You better first read Wine Austen: The Wine-Lover’s guide to All of Jane’s Novels. For example:
Mansfield Park
A dry wine for a dry character, but with hidden depth of flavor and character: I suggest a fine Merlot. The book is delicate, dark at times, and meant only for a fine palate. Fanny Price is not everyone’s favorite character, and neither is a Merlot everyone’s favorite wine.
It’s a cute article. Link. (and I enjoy them on Facebook).
7. For only $8, all of your dreams can come true. It’s the portable pizza pouch!! FINALLY, I can take that extra slice with me. What a time to be alive.
6. I don’t know what I think of Nick Jonas, BUT – I don’t mind this gif one bit. Not one bit at all. This is from his new movie, Careful What You Wish For.
I wish that I could eat pizza and drink wine all day and have a flat stomach.
5. Momoa in the bath. This is over a week old and I will still be peeking at it weeks from now. #KhalDrogoForever. Highly rec his instagram account if you are a fan of him being shirtless *wink*
4. A Pixar Crock-Pot exists! I think it’s so cute!
3. This is still in the kickstarter phase – but omg I need this. An alarm clock that wakes you up with a fresh cup of coffee. In my dorm room at college, I could reach my mini-coffee pot from my bed – it was the best thing in the entire world. (until my dorm monitor found it and made me get rid of it due to it being a fire hazard. Then I had to hide my coffee pot in my closet. Still not too far of a walk LOL).
I don’t understand people who can get out of bed and accomplish anything before they have a cup of coffee. This would be amazing!
2. SO dumb but it makes me giggle and I want to do this to one of my cats.
1. I’ve been looking to adopt a Chihuahua for some time now – and this week, I saw Tater’s picture, and tomorrow we get to go adopt her! She is five years old, and six pounds (Chihuahua mix) and I’m in love with her. A bigger dog took out her eye a few years ago. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Georgia and shipped to Maryland. Her foster mom fosters hundreds of dogs every year – she is really amazing. My husband thinks I wait to find the homeliest of dogs I can find (My previous picks that didn’t work out were dogs with one eye and elderly LOLOL).
