Jen’s Mini Reviews: Books by Taylor Jenkins Reid, Katherine Center and Claire Wilder
It’s beach read season! I have two amazing books- one that’s been out awhile and one that's new. A third book that was just really good. First up, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I LOVED this book! It was released in 2017, but has been enjoying some extra love lately because of Booktok and Reid’s more recent books. I bought this in 2019 and have no idea why it took me so long to read. Kini’ Friday Kisses- Mini Reviews for books by Jenny Holiday and Charish Reid
It’s the 62nd day of January and I can't wait for January to be over. Here are some thoughts on books I read recently Mermaid Inn by Jenny Holiday. Y’all know I am a fan of Jenny Holiday’s books. His love interest is Fabian and Fabian seems to present as gender non-conforming. All in all the story was sweet and sexy and was a great reintroduction to hockey romance for me. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. Reid hints at another couple that has my interest Continue Reading

Yes, she had not been married long, and yes she had reservations before getting married - but her lack of distraught and the fact she is smiling and laughing with the hero, shortly after her husband's murder was Continue Reading
