Smexy’s Top Ten – April 11th
10. So I hear last week Tori perused my Facebook account and stole a not so flattering picture of my husband and myself - we MAY have consumed some beers at the baseball game, and then she posted it in the Top Ten. Oh....there will be revenge Tori!! *wait for Tori to post a bad pic* 9. Cover reveal! Coming December 2014, Revenant by Larissa Ione. I wouldn't mind if he flapped his wings at me. 8. JR Ward had her annual signing and Q&A session last weekend. I updated my JR Continue Reading
Tori’s Favorite Books of 2013
2013 ran the literary gauntlet from incredible never to be forgotten stories to crap I wouldn’t line my rabbit cage with. We saw the rise of emotionally angsty New Adult, erotic moody billionaire alpha hole trilogies, and intense “omg they di’nt” biker MC romances. Self publishing began to lose it’s stigma and take a larger share of the market while also contributing to the rash of plagiarism that flooded the internet. It was a crazy wild year for publishing. Below is a list of what rocked my Continue Reading

Smexy’s Top Ten–March 22nd
10. Darcy and Lizzie finally kissed!!! My life is complete. For those who have no idea what I’m talking about (gasp! shame!) go here 9. This week I read both Blade Song and Night Blade by JC Daniels. May and Tori have been telling me to start this series for a long time and I finally listened to them. Zomg. These books are so, so good. Kit is a half breed assassin – kick ass heroine – smart, stubborn, feisty. She gets paired with a VERY alpha cat shifter. He growls and purrs. It’s a really Continue Reading
Smexy’s Top Ten–February 8th
10. I’m completely obsessed with the Lizzie Bennett Diary videos. Beyond obsessed. Unfamiliar? They are a modern adaption of Pride & Prejudice told in Vlog style. Completely adorable and they capture the book so well. Darcy and his awkward flirting makes me die swooning. There are currently 86 episodes and each one is 3-4 minutes long. We are getting towards the end, as Wickham and Lydia’s drama is now unfolding. *bites lip* This above gif make me smile so much. Yes Darcy – Continue Reading
Tori’s Favorite Books of 2012
Choosing a favorite book is like choosing a body part I can’t live without. I need them all to survive. 2012 was a fabulous and turbulent year for bibliophiles and bookworms alike. We watched normally sane authors engage in dubious behavior, we saw FanFic hit the NY best sellers list, and we watched a few new genres appear while old favorites take a turn for the worse. I read over 500 books this year and found myself extremely hard pressed to pick just a few to share as my favorites. As you Continue Reading
