Next week High Risk, book one in Vivian Arend’s new Adreleine series hits stores. Set in Banff, Alberta Canada, the series features an elite search and rescue squad who get called out on dangerous mountain rescues.
In High Risk we meet Becki and Marcus, who years ago had a passionate affair but much has changed since they last saw each other. Marcus has lost his arm and suffers from blackouts. Becki has lost her climbing partner in a horrible accident, yet can’t remember the events from that day. Now that she is back in Banff, her passion reignites with Marcus, and they try to move on together.
Today, Vivian is sharing some of her pictures from her trip to Equador. How cool! She is also giving away a High Risk swag pack plus winner’s choice of any book from her backlist. More details about the giveaway are at the end of the post. Let’s get to the photos!
Please note: If you click on each image, it will enlarge the picture making some of the text easier to read.
Thanks for sharing these fun pictures Vivian! To enter to win a High Risk swag pack and a book from Vivian Arend’s back list, just leave a comment. Open to everyone through March 1.

Can’t wait to read High Risk. The setting alone intrigues me. Although I haven’t been to Banff I have been to Equador (Gallapagos Islands) and enjoyed Vivian’s pictures of her recent trip to the country.
