9. Hey – One of my favorite historical romances, A Lily Among Thorns by Rose Lerner is being rereleased through Samhain. I really adore all of Rose Lerner’s books, and I’m so glad the few she published with Dorchester are being published again. 8. In other book news, there is a new book website called This Book Next. I’ve played around a little bit with it this week. The idea is, you find books you have enjoyed, and after you’ve clicked on a few, you can hit a “view results” button, which will then give you suggestions on what you should read next, based on what you’ve liked in the past. Their romance selection is okay – I put in the last five books I enjoyed, and they only had one. But I was told they run a few weeks behind from release date. I think this website would be good for the newer reader, who is not familiar with the bigger-named authors.

7. I saw a tweet about this a few days ago, and now I think I must subscribe to Loot Crate for my kids for Christmas. It’s like the monthly make-up boxes you can subscribe to (Ipsy is my favorite) but it’s full of gamer gear every month. You can click on Past Crates to see what has been offered. I’m Christmas shopping early! Score.

I went to a strip club shortly after the first Magic Mike released. Let’s just say if I never see a fringe or tasseled peen  up close again, it will be too soon. I’m not kidding. Maybe if you get me drunk at RT next year, I’ll tell some tales… ;)

Some people are just so talented and creative. I’m way to clumsy to create something that little. LOL. So cute.

3. Do you know what’s cuter than a mini-pug, Groot Cupcakes. From Guardians of the Galaxy, you can now make your own Groot. Find the recipe here. There is a 100% chance if I made these, they would look nothing like Groot, but it’s a fun thought.

2. A teaser to the new season of The Mindy Project, one of my favorite shows (as is Parks and Rec and Parenthood – all ending after this season – WTF network tv????) Anyway – suuuupppppper excited for Mindy and Danny to be together. If you don’t watch this show, you must. The first season is a little rough but after that – ALL the giggles.

1. I get to go to an ice cream social at the elementary school tonight. Stop being so jealous. This weekend I’m going to read Losing Streak by Kristine Wyllys. I really enjoyed book one.
