I really had no disappointments this month..I loved Mine to Possess (Clay is one tough alpha male), Duke of Shadows was an amazing historical romance, The entire Adrien English series is on the top of my list, and I have been pleasantly surprised by the Gardella vampire series.
I started The Rest Falls Away a long time ago and only made it through a few chapters. Recently, a friend of mine wanted to read the series so I thought I would give it another try. I still found the first book a bit slow, but I am almost done the third and I must admit, it is really good. It is a paranormal historical romance adventure if that makes sense. It is a five book series following Victoria, who if it was up to her mother, would be married off and having babies by now. However, her mother and most of the people in her live have no idea what she actually does at night – hunt vampires. There is Max, fellow vampire hunter and Sebastian – I’m do not want to give anything away, let me just say he is a very charming man who has a lot of secrets. At the end of book five, Victoria had better pick the man I want her to be with..or the book will be thrown across the room :) It is Max v. Sebastian – through book two I was a big Sebastian fan, but somehow Max has found his way into my heart by the end of the third.
