10. My Week – I survived camping y’all! We had a skunk that would come stare at us every night, but he never sprayed ;) Fun times at 2am when the boys had to go to the bathroom – sorry, kids, we can’t scare the skunk that is lurking outside! I think he was a were-skunk waiting for my hubs to leave so he could transform into a SMEXY DUDE. Unfortunately, hubs didn’t leave.
9. Harper Collins is coming to NetGalley. You can read the press release here. I’m excited because Crown of Crystal Flame will be available! This is the final book in C.L. Wilson’s Tairen Soul series, which I adore. I say read it (start with Lord of the Fading Lands) if you haven’t yet!
8. While camping I decided to read for fun – a non-review book. Shocking, I know! So I got my Kindle out and went through my 19 pages of books (I have a problem, I know this :) and decided on Spellbent by Lucy Snyder. I LOVED this urban fantasy book. There are many gross parts – but hey, I like gross. And I mean gross – like feminine hygiene moments, the heroine has a ping pong ball for an eye, and “Jizz Kids” (umm..mutant humans that grow in a toilet because..the jizz part..well..you get the picture) BUT – don’t run away screaming. This book has an awesome story line and a great heroine. Plus, the heroine’s familiar is a ferret, and there are a couple of chapters in his point of view. Seriously a great, unique book. 6. This is the first I have seen the cover for Courtney Milan’s Trial by Desire Thanks KB!). This is Ned’s story, who we first meet in Proof by Seduction. I am very interested to see him as a hero and I LOVE the cover.
5. I HEART Harry. So excited for the last two movies. I remember years ago I kept hearing people say how good these books were and I did the nose scrunch and didn’t read them. Then my dad read them, and they got his stamp of approval. So I thought, if my dad, who usually sticks to mystery/horror liked the Potter, then I would try it out. Thanks dad! (Thanks to Anna for the heads up on the poster!)
4. Oh hey – someone forgot to put on their shirt. That happens to me sometimes too. (Thanks VFG!) Releases Nov. 30th.
3. Blog to check out this week – Ramblings of a Book Bitch. She always makes me giggle and I heart people who can make me laugh. She loves romance books, milk shakes and QHUAY and is a must follow on Twitter. <3 <3 <3!!

1. Alrighty my peeps – I am off to the beach for a week. As you read this I am in a car – trapped in a confined space with my hubs and two boys – for nine hours. That’s right – we have a perfectly good beach three hours away but we like torture ourselves with long drives :) I have Unholy Ghosts and Unholy Magic on my Kindle waiting for me and many other books stuck in my suitcase. There will still be posts next week – as long as the hotel has internet *crosses fingers* Have a nice weekend! :)

I hate skunks. Our dog used to get sprayed 2-3 times a year and my house would stink like ass for months.
I almost bought Spellbent but read so many reviews where people said it was 'too much'. So, if you heart it then I'll probably like it.
