Hero: Daniel. Billionaire. Has had a crush on Monica since childhood. He considers her a friend…a friend he wants to do very dirty things to. Heroine: Monica. Afraid of commitment. Has been told she is passionless. Decides to ask Daniel to service her… Quietly engrossed with his expression of pure, unabashed lust, she watched him stroke an open hand up her stomach, then he circled his thumb around her belly button before he bent to lick. Her breasts became heavy and swollen, the nipples Continue Reading

Review: Fleet Week by Melody Montclair
Fleet Week by Melody Montclair (Fleet Week #1) June 1, 2013 Contemporary Romance Velvet Pony Press Reviewed by Mandi When this review request came in, the only thing I could think about is the Fleet Week episode from Sex and the City, so I decided to give it a try. I can’t resist a sailor romance. Gina is new to New York City, working a temp job in the financial district. Her co-worker always tries to get her to come out to happy hours, but the shy Gina never accepts. But Continue Reading

Returning to Hawaii Once Again Hi, everyone. I want to thank Mandi and the rest of the Smexy Books crew for having me on Smexy books again. I am so excited to be here to talk about my ninth Harmless book, A Little Harmless Ride. First, let me tell you a little bit about me. I am a military wife (a soon to be a retired military wife, woo hoo) and I am a former brat. I write in genres from historical to futuristic and everything in between. I am best known for my Harmless series. They are all Continue Reading
Review: A Mating Dance by Lia Davis
A Mating Dance by Lia Davis (Ashwood Falls #2) June 11, 2013 M/M/F Paranormal Fated Desires Publishing Reviewed by Mandi I’m just going to include the blurb from this one as it sets-up the story quite well: Senior enforcer, Cameron Nickels has found her perfect mate. Blaine Andrews, leopard Pack Marshal, is strong, dominate, loyal, and passionate. He knows all her strengths and weaknesses—not to mention her pleasure points. Cam’s known Blaine most her life, but she’s always Continue Reading
Tori’s Mini Rant on Gifs in Reviews
I don’t have a problem with gifs in general. I am guilty of getting on LOLcheezburgers and looking at all the cute kitten and puppies. I laugh myself silly at text fails. I think animated gifs where people are rolling their eyes or throwing things are hilarious. That being said, I have a problem with gifs in reviews. My problem isn’t the single gif, but the 18 million gifs that are crammed into a review that overtake and essentially BECOME the review. You scroll through never Continue Reading

Review: Making it Last by Ruthie Knox
Making it Last by Ruthie Knox (Camelot #4) July 15, 2013 Contemporary Novella Loveswept Reviewed by Mandi I love it when authors give us a hero and a heroine who are already established. Even better, Ruthie Knox earlier this year gave us a novella showing us how Amber and Tony meet and fall in love in How to Misbehave (I gave it a B+ just like this book). Now we get this couple again, ten years later. Three kids later. And the magic of brand new love has worn off. Amber is Continue Reading
