July 29, 2011 by Mandi

6. My week – Yes, you read that right. Only a top six this week but I have a good excuse for being offline for a few days. My new niece, Katherine Elizabeth was born yesterday. She is the first baby for my brother and his wife. Oh, Auntie Smexy is excited. A girl in the family – finally. Is it too early to give her some romance books and a Killers album? Maybe. I did have a Brandon Flowers shirt on the first time she saw me. It’s a good start. Baby and SIL are doing well.   5. Jeanine Continue Reading

Greetings and salutations! First of all, I want to thank Mandi and Tori for having me on the blog again today. Thanks so much! My name is Jennifer Estep, and I write the Mythos Academy young adult urban fantasy series for Kensington. The books focus on Gwen Frost, a 17-year-old Gypsy girl who has the gift of psychometry, or the ability to know an object’s history just by touching it. After a serious freak-out with her magic, Gwen is shipped off to Mythos Academy, a school for the Continue Reading

Touch Of Frost (Mythos Academy #1) by Jennifer Estep Paranormal YA July 26, 2011 Paperback Kensington Reviewed by Tori Favorite Quote: “...this gypsy girl happens to have a grandma who can curse you so bad that your dick will fall off, so watch your step...” First off let me say I LOVE Jennifer Estep’s adult Elemental series. So when I heard she was writing a YA series I begged, pleaded, schemed, and had some “not so proud moments” in order to secure an ARC Of A Touch Of Frost. Continue Reading

Review: Trespass by Meg Maguire

July 26, 2011 by Mandi

Trespass by Meg Maguire Contemporary Romance July 26, 2011 E-Book Samhain Reviewed by Mandi After reading The Reluctant Nude earlier this year, I became very excited to try something else by Meg Maguire. Trespass didn’t quite live up to my expectations, but it still offers quite a different story, which I’ve come to expect from Meg Maguire aka Cara McKenna. Sarah is on the run. From Buffalo, New York you know she is running from something serious she was involved in, but as the Continue Reading

Review: The Bed and the Bachelor by Tracy Anne Warren

July 25, 2011 by admin

The Bed and the Bachelor by Tracy Anne Warren (The Byrons of Braebourne #5) Historical Romance July 26, 2011 Paperback Avon Reviewed by May As I turned the last page of this book I found myself pondering three things. First, that I have no idea why the couple featured in this book fancy themselves in love. Secondly, how am I going to settle on a grade for this book?
