On the Steamy Side by Louisa Edwards
Although I did not read Louisa Edwards debut, Can’t Stand the Heat, I heard great things and I am really looking forward to reading this one.

On the Steamy Side

When Lilah Jane Tunkle fled her dull life in Virginia for the bright lights of New York City, she didn’t expect to wind up a nanny to a gorgeous celebrity chef’s ten-year-old son. Working for the delectable Devon Sparks is a sure-fire recipe for disaster, especially after Lilah gets a tantalizing taste of his perfectly seasoned kisses …

Devon’s not sure he can handle one more surprise ingredient in his life—he quit his popular TV show, his culinary reputation is on the line, and now the son he barely knows is back for seconds. Lilah’s Southern sass is supposed to keep the boy in line, but soon enough she’s teaching Devon a thing or two about homespun food…and turning up the heat.

Something About You by Julie James
I really enjoyed Julie James’ previous books and I hear this one may be her best yet.

Of all the hotel rooms rented by all the adulterous politicians in Chicago, female Assistant U.S. Attorney Cameron Lynde had to choose the one next to 1308, where some hot-and-heavy lovemaking ends in bloodshed. And of all the FBI agents in Illinois, it had to be Special Agent Jack Pallas who gets assigned to this high-profile homicide. The same Jack Pallas who still blames Cameron for a botched crackdown three years ago—and nearly ruining his career…

Work with Cameron Lynde? Are they kidding? Maybe, Jack thinks, this is some kind of welcome-back prank after his stint away from Chicago. But it’s no joke: the pair is going to have to put their rocky past behind them and focus on the case at hand. That is, if they can cut back on the razor-sharp jibes—and smother the flame of their sizzling-hot sexual tension…

Recent Review: Babbling About Books and More and The Book Binge

Broken by Shiloh Walker
I received an ARC of this book and it is the first time I have read Shiloh Walker. Can I tape I sign on my back that says “kick me.” Why have I never read her before?!? I loved this book, and my review is coming next week!

Broken

Quinn Rafferty is working as a bounty hunter and bail bondsman in St. Louis when a new neighbor catches his eye. He’s tempted by her beauty—but he knows from experience that anyone desperate enough to live in his building is damaged goods. Besides, he has his own soul to mend before he can worry about anyone else.

Sarah McElya is on the run, but not for the usual reasons a woman goes on the lam. She’s not an abused wife, and she’s not a criminal. But she does have a plan for her future. And as much as she finds herself attracted to her gruff, tough neighbor, she can’t risk telling him the secrets she’s hiding. There’s just too much at stake.

But Quinn must get closer to Sarah when she turns out to be the target of his new missing persons case, and he discovers that there is something more complex and dangerous to her than he thought. Now, both Quinn and Sara will have to expose their true feelings—as well as their fragile hearts—if they hope their love will survive…

Exclusively Yours by Shannon Stacey
I saw Shannon Stacey tweet this a few days ago – it is the first official cover for the new digital-only publisher, Carina Press (part of Harlequin). No release date yet, but I look forward to it!

One random blog entry is all it takes to pull the safety net out from under Keri Daniels. One minute she’s shopping with her boss, and the next she’s holding a photo of an eighteen-year-old version of herself in the arms of her high school sweetheart, Joe Kowalski. Tina Deschanel—the editor-in-chief of Spotlight Magazine—has been trying to get an interview with the reclusive, bestselling author for years. And when Tina tracked down a blogger who claimed to go to school with the man, she discovered her best reporter had been withholding some very interesting backstory. Now she’s given Keri a choice—the interview or a new career. She’s worked too hard and is too close to achieving her promotion to say no.
Go HERE to read the rest of the excerpt and more about the characters.

Line of Fire by Jo Davis
Oh my – I hope Mr. Firefighter buttons up before rushing in to fight a fire ;) This is the fourth book in her Station Five firefighter series, but the first I will be reading.

Line of Fire (Firefighters of Station Five, #4)

To the other men of the A-shift, Tommy’s a lucky guy who has it all. But deep inside, the golden boy of Station Five hides a private pain. He was once a star quarterback on the fast track, until tragedy derailed his dream. Ever since then, he’s struggled with the choices he’s made—including his decision to become a firefighter.

His one ray of light shines in beautiful nurse Shea Ford. And when a dangerous rescue lands Tommy in the ER, what better opportunity to win her over? As Shea gives in to her feelings for him, they reach the heights of passion. But when a sinister conspiracy culminates in deadly arson, Tommy will lose more than he ever imagined. A ruthless enemy is closing in, threatening to destroy the couple’s love—and their lives.

And finally, I am really looking forward to Duty and Devotion by Tere Michaels. This will be the sequel to her M/M romance, Faith and Fidelity. You can read my review on Goodreads HERE. Duty and Devotion is expected to come out this March (maybe?) from Loose ID and I can’t wait.

Those are the contemporaries I will be reading in the next month or two. What are you looking forward to?

Oh my, I have such a weak spot for firefighters :) I think I might have that first book of this series on my ereader. If not I have to get it soon!

And of course I will be reading Duty and Devotion too :) I can't wait for the cover and the final release date to be announced. Loose Id is always so slow with that…

I saw that you started Tigers and Devils today. I finished it this morning and I've been thinking about Simon and Declan whole day long and probably will for a few more days as well. I hope you'll enjoy it too!

    Are generic impotence medications cheaper
than the brand-name medications. Such a process can go on as long as the Viagra continues its influence.
There are topical oils or emulsions to smear or spray at the penis head to stimulate an erection, often called transdermal erection oils.
