My favorite word is Smexy (Smutty Sex). I find that a lot of the books I read can be classified into the “smexy” category. The cover of Lover Avenged, one of my top ten books I am anticipating for 2009, is definitely smexy. (I also assume the words after the cover will be super smexy – but we have to wait until 4/28 to find out)
I think my husband is smexy (alas, his nickname, Mr. Smexy), I also think a lot of the alpha males I read about are smexy as well. I fear my husband sometimes feels the need to compete with the fictitious males in my world. I recently asked my him to growl when I read Bone Crossed – I wanted to hear what it sounded like. Adam Hauptmann can do a wicked growl that comes from his chest. My husband refused…I guess you really do have to be a werewolf to get some rumblings going on.
Those of you who know me well, know that I LOVE books…I usually read paranormal romance and urban fantasy..although I really do not like to classify my books into categories. I am starting to come to the realization that I need to invest in a Kindle or some sort of e-reader..it is getting too tricky to hide Amazon boxes from Mr. Smexy. Well, I can hide the boxes, I do have a hard time hiding new bookcases that must be purchased to hold the new books.
I am dreading going into e-book format. I love my physical books, however, it is very enticing to think I could download a book at anytime instead of staring out the window waiting for the ups man (who unfortunately on my street, is not very smexy…I see quite a lot of him.)
