Kresley Cole writes the wonderful Immortals After Dark series. The next book in the series, A Deep Kiss of Winter, coming out this November, will be featured in a Duology with Gena Showalter. This will be Murdoch Wroth and Daniela the Ice Maiden’s story. This series is one of my favorites and the Valkyrie are some of the best written characters out there. My favorite story is still Bowen and Mariketa’s but I love it when Nix shows up..she always makes me laugh. I was a little disappointed by her latest book, Kiss of a Demon King because I really didn’t like the heroine Sabine. However, this is definitely a series worth reading. I have yet to read anything by Gena Showalter, although I have her Lords of the Underworlds series in my tbr. I have heard good things about that series as well.

Kresley Cole’s next full length book, Pleasure of a Dark Prince, coming January 2010, will be Garreth and Lucia’s story. Now I know I have a hard time remembering exactly who is who in this series so here is a brief recap:

Murdoch is a vampire and is Nikolai (Playing Easy to Get) and Sebastian’s (Hero in No Rest for the Wicked) brother. Daniela is a Valkyrie and can only be touched by another ice maiden, but she has been exiled so she has not been touched for centuries.

Garreth is Lachlaine’s brother (A Hunger Like No Other), and cousin to Bowen (Wicked Deeds on a Winter’s Night). Lucia is the Valkyrie archer, who feels extreme pain every time she misses a shot.
