This blogging community is such a fun, welcoming, supportive group of people. While it is fun to post things here at Smexy, I have even more fun reading others posts. There are plenty of laughs, tons of great book recommendations, and let’s not forget lots of drool worthy males ;)
Once in awhile another blogger will hand out blog awards and it really is an honor to receive them. I have been trying to think of a way to share some of my favorite blogs with everyone. Instead of just putting a massive list out, (there are a lot of blogs I have love for) I think I will pick four each week for as long as it takes me to go through them. Some of these blogs are ones you are probably familiar with, some are brand new, some are just brand new to me.
This is a blog I am sure most of you visit, if not, then get your smexy butts over there! I literally stalk these girls for their book rec’s. If they give a high rating to a book, I know for sure I will enjoy it as well. Honestly my tbr pile has increases on a weekly basis because of this site. Most recently I have added the Thief by Megan Whalen Turner, which they have featured on their YA week. They are also the blog that recommended author Kate Noble to me, and we know how much I love her books!
I have CL Wilson set up as a google alert, and when Silver reviewed her Tairn Soul series, her blog popped up and I have been visiting ever since. (psst – google alerts is a great way to find new blogs!). She writes great reviews, and lately she has been on a Jacqueline Carey spurt, which reminds me I need to read Kushiel’s Dart in my tbr :) Her blog has a very clean style to it, which I love.
I found this fun blog through Twitter. We share love for so many of the same authors and we all appreciate a sexy book when we see one. They do book reviews, cover alerts, and fun chatter. They most recently picked which actors would play the leads in some of their favorite books. They have Gerard Butler as Barrons…isn’t that a good match? :) Besides a great blog, we have fun chatting on Twitter:) They definitely have good recommendations, make sure you stop by!
Cecile has created the most warm, welcoming place to visit. This girl knows how to have fun. She was one of my first followers and we have been friends ever since. Most recently she help take over my blog, and she did a great job. Cecile does wonderful reviews and interviews, and one of the best places on her blog in the comment section! Once her comments get rolling, there is no stopping them. If you have an inner hussy that needs to come out, this is the place to go ;)
She is also celebrating her 101st post today!! She is giving away lots of cool books…go check it out!
