A few odds and ends:
The Book Smugglers are having a YA Appreciation Month. From July 19th through August 16th they are talking everything Young Adult, plus on August 15th you will be able to leave a link to your blog to talk about a Young Adult book or topic. Click on the link to read more.
Max will be the next hero after Dev in Blaze of Memory, in Nalini Singh Psy/Changeling series. He was the police officer in Mine to Possess. You remember him, right (because I don’t!!). I am a bad Nalini Singh fan :(. On brighter news, I just finished Branded by Fire last night and loved it!! Will post thoughts soon.
Tomorrow I am off to the literacy signing at the RWA conference. I am fortunate enough to live near DC so I am close enough to just drive in for the signing. I am so excited I can’t stand it. I am getting in line early and hitting JR Ward first, because I have a feeling she will be busy. I also can’t wait to meet Jeanine Frost, Kate Noble, Meredith Duran, Joanna Bourne, Kresely Cole, Melissa Marr….I could go on and on. I will be sure to take pictures and hopefully meet a few other bloggers there too!
On a personal note, my brother got married this past weekend! My husband, myself and our two boys were all in the wedding. I don’t think the four of us will be in formal wear all together again for quite some time..so here are some pictures:

It was such a fun night and not so fun Sunday trying to recover..LOL. Now the newlyweds are off in Tahiti having the honeymoon of their dreams!
