Grimspace and Wanderlust – Ann Aguirre
Smexy: This has been one of my favorite reads all year. Great action, sweet romance, very witty dialog. My Wanderlust review will be up next week. Rating:9
Indy: Who is this March guy? Just because he can fly a plane and read your thoughts – I can fly – remember the time I took off out of the middle of a swamp? And baby, I don’t need to read your thoughts to know what you want.
Smexy: But Indy, you are horrible at landings..you can’t finish the job – let’s hope you can finish other things *wink*
Mr Darcy, Vampyre – Amanda Grange
Smexy: I was hoping for a bit more paranormal in this one, it fell a bit flat for me. Rating:6
Indiana: If I had fangs, I would have been showing Elizabeth a thing or two about blood lust.
Destined For An Early Grave – Jeaniene Frost
Smexy: I heart Bones and Cat. One of my absolute favorite series. Rating:9
Indy: Gah..another vampire. I treasure hunt, have banshees chasing me, I’ve been imprisoned, yet, I’m a mere mortal. A man, a real man.
Seduced By Two – Stephanie Julian
Smexy: Verra hot story, not sure if I would pick two brothers to seduce me, but otherwise, they were a fine pair. Rating:7
Indy – Whoa..back the train up. Who needs two men to seduce them? When I seduce a woman, there is always two *pulls out his whip*
Queen of Song and Souls – CL Wilson
Smexy: You will hear my thoughts in October ;)
Indy: Such a tease Smexy, I like it.
Dreamfever -Karen Marie Moning
Smexy: The fourth installment in the Fever series, this one left me with a lot of questions! KMM knows how to torture – in a good way. Rating:9
Indy – Ooooh..I think I would like to meet this Karen Marie Moning.
The Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker – Leanna Renee Hieber
Smexy: Absolutely lovely story, one of my favorites this year. The lead character, Alexi Rychamn channels Alan Rickman very nicely. Rating:9
Indy: I see I have competition with this Alan Rickman. What a pompous, arrogant bristish bastard!
Smexy: Now Indy, no need to be jealous…
Indy: At least I don’t have that ridiculous accent, its probably fake.
Blood Noir – Jesse Fox
Smexy: Great male/male romantic mystery, I really enjoyed discovering this new author to me. Rating:7
Indy: I like discovering things – treasure, new places, new women, new positions…
Smexy: Indy! Please! We are dignified here in Smexyville.
Some Girls Bite – Look for my review and interview with Chloe Neill this week! (ps – awesome book!) And yes Indy, it is another book about vampires – maybe you could go on a hunt for a stake…
