J.R. Ward and Jessica Andersen will be having a live online chat, Tuesday August 18th at 8pm EST to celebrate the release of Skykeepers, the third book in Jessica Andersen’s Final Prophecy series which came out August 4th.
J.R. Ward and Jessica Andersen did a similar chat a few months ago and it was a lot of fun. After everyone was done asking Jessica Andersen questions, she left and J.R. Ward took lots of questions about her Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I hope with Covet (first book in her new series) coming out at the end of September, she will take some time and answer questions again.

Speaking of her message boards, she has been on quite a bit recently and has given the following tidbits away. If you are a die-hard spoiler free person, I am giving you fair warning. I don’t think what she has released is very spoilery, but you have been warned!
– John Matthew’s sex scenes have made her blush more than any other character (of course!! He is the smexiest!!!!)
– There will be an excerpt of Lover Mine in the back of Covet.
– Lover Mine (8th book in her Black Dagger Brotherhood series) starts two weeks after Lover Avenged ends. John Matthew has been looking for Xhex during those two weeks but has not found her.
– Blay loses his viginity in Lover Mine. She will not confirm to whom, although she has said Blay and Saxton meet in this book. (It must be Qhuinn or Saxton)
– We will see Wrath as a seven yr old with his father in Lover Mine. Tohrture, Murhder, Ahgony and Darius also show up in flashbacks.
– She was hoping to show Rhage and Mary’s struggle for a baby in Lover Mine, but the book is too big to fit them in. She may do a short story for them.
– She will start posting a quote a day from Covet on her message boards in the near future.
– Covet timeline starts right about the time Lover Mine starts and there will be some overlap.
It’s no secret I am a HUGE John Matthew fan, have been from day one – of course after his transition, he was physically much more appealing :) I am very excited for this book! It will be released at the end of April 2010.
Blay is a virgin? I guess with a man, not a woman? I thought He and Qhuinn would have menages with one another and some chicky.
Wouldn't it be nice if one of the couples got pregnant? I am hoping for Wrath and Beth.
KB – Qhuinn would never share the females goodies with Blay maybe? I don't know. Maybe she meant man virgin:) I definitely think it is time for Wrath and Beth to have a mini king. She has said Phury and Cormia will eventually have a son named Aggie.
I wonder how far Ward will go in writing Blay's romance? Will it be subtle or just like the rest of the couples. Some man love in Ward land? I say hell yah.
Her chat at nationals was great. I asked her about V and Butch and said perhaps they and their women should have an orgy. She told me her publisher wouldn't allow it! LMAO!
I was wondering if we will get to "see" Blay lose his virginity or just hear about it. I bet she would put it in if it were up to her.

And when you first mentioned Blay, I forgot all about who he was lol. I hope he loses his virginity to Saxton though, I was thinking they'd make a hot couple :)
I can't believe the release date for Lover Mine isn't until April. That's far more closer than I thought, yay!

OH! I gotta say, I am DEVASTATED to hear that Rhage + Mary won't be getting their second wind in 'Lover Mine' the same way Wrath + Beth did in 'Lover Avenged'. I was really looking forward to finding out about their decision regarding a child!
Especially after huge hints were dropped in the short story 'Father Mine' about their struggles.
Argh.
Don't get me wrong – Qhuinn, John and Blay are fast becoming my favorite brotherhood trio – I was just really looking forward to lots of Rhage + Mary.
