(This cover is all about the naughty)
Seduced by Two – Stephanie Julian
157 pages, ebook
Ellora’s Cave
Nica and her best friend Tira are enjoying a night out at a bar. Tira is looking for the hottest guy to take back to her place but Nica has other things on her mind – like a life altering change that is going to take place in the near future. Nica is a witch and very soon she has to give her life over for the goodness of her race. She feels a reckless need to do something and feel something this night. She notices a hot guy at the bar, and with desperation clinging to her, she decides what the Hell, and introduces herself. He is not alone though. This brother has a twin who is also interested in Nica, and she can tell by the expression on their faces, they both want her. With a pounding heart, and nervous legs, she decides it is now or never and leaves to go back to their house.
Tanner and Jenson are twins, living together and working together, and they enjoy the same women together. They have absolutely no attraction to each other, but they enjoy sharing the same woman at the same time. Nica comes home with them and they have mind blowing sex, just what Nika needed to get her mind off of her future. The break doesn’t last long though when she receives an urgent phone call from Tira.
She makes a lame excuse to the brothers although they know she is lying. As Nica is leaving, a man steps out of the shadows and demands she comes with him. Nica has been recently receiving threatening phone calls from this man and Tanner and Jenson immediately go on the defensive, which ends up with both of them being hit by something supernatural out of the man’s hands. He gives Nica just a few days to turn herself over to him or he threatens more casualties. Tanner recovers only to find Jenson out cold. Before he can call 9-1-1, Nica says she is the only one that can help.
Jenson is dying and Nica must perform a spell to stop his internal organs from dying however she can not let humans know the power she has. After performing the spell, and saving Jenson’s life, she uses another spell to erase the brothers memories and leaves, thinking she will never see the brothers again.
When Jenson and Tanner awake the next morning, they realize they both had the same dream about a brunette and they know they had met her at the bar last night, otherwise the details of their evening are sketchy. They return to the bar to see if they can find clues to the woman’s identity and at the same time Nica arrives. She realizes Tanner and Jenson could be in danger since the man saw them with her last night and she is afraid to leave them alone. So she reintroduces herself, and she goes home with them again, and they spend the weekend enjoying each other.
However, things don’t stay playful. When Nica learns Tira has been kidnapped and is being held ransom in exchange for herself, she must make a decision. Can she trust these brothers, two men who have come to mean so much to her in such a short time? Can she confide in these men even though she will be going through a life altering change soon?
Although Seduced by Two is only 150 pages, it read more like a full length novel. The characters were well developed and Stephanie Julian did a good job building the paranormal world. This is the seventh book in her Magical series, but it reads well as a stand alone book.
At first, I didn’t love the idea of two brothers seducing the same girl at the same time. They live together, and after love making they all sleep together. I don’t mind m/f/m but two brothers was a little off for me. However, the love scenes are done well and there was never a time where the brothers got off on one another. Tanner and Jenson bring smexy to an entirely new level!
Jenson and Tanner are twins yet so different. They know each other’s strengths and weaknesses so when it comes to the bedroom, they play off each other quite well. Nica is a very lucky lady, but she is also no shy girl when it comes to these boys. Her power feeds off of sexual activity and if she does not keep it corralled in deep enough when she in the throes of passion, it will leak out and encompass the brothers, giving them pleasure more intense than they have ever experienced.
This book has lots of steamy romance – enough to keep you satisfied for a long time. The sex scenes did not overpower the storyline, which I like. There was enough conflict and action to keep the story moving forward, even though there were many stops in the bedroom – or on the kitchen counter.
Rating: 3 Stars

I felt the same, a bit strange with brothers enjoying the same woman. But if they never touched or so, then it's ok. Sounds hot

Hmmmm…I don't know about the brother bit. I think I *might* have read at some point, a paranormal story with werewolves that had two brothers who *had* to mate with the same girl. I'm trying to think of the name of that story. I'd have to see if I marked it on Goodreads.

    Anyhow, wonderful, honest review, Mandi.

    Hey Mandi,
Very intriguing review…would it be rude to ask her tomorrow why she chose for two brothers? Now that is something I would really like to know!

Leontine – maybe she will stop by:) I read on her website that her previous Magical Seduction books were just m/f and in this one she wanted to explore.

Leontine, Ask away! And since you kind of did already :) I'll answer.

I consider the brother angle one of those ultimate fantasies, one of those things you just don't see in real life but that intrigues you.

Please come back tomorrow to find out more.

I'm with you on the brother/female/brother scenario, if done well with no brotherly touching I can live with it.
