But then she had a one-night stand with a fallen angel and was bitten by a vampire…and now she’s a succubus. Now, she’s turned into a babe, needs sex to survive, and can puts people to sleep with a touch of her fingertips.
Sounds great, right? Except for the fact that she’s caught between both the Heavenly and Infernal Host in an ancient turf-war, and now both sides want a piece of her…
I don’t believe there is a blurb out for this book yet, but on Jill’s website it says this book features Zane, her “dark n’ sexy vampire.” – Just the way I like ’em.
Go HERE to see her post.
With a flirtatious new figure, her dream job as an archaeologist, and two gorgeous boyfriends to scratch her seductive Itch—an angel and a vampire—Jackie Brighton is totally getting the hang of life as a succubus.
Then her need for sex spirals out of control, and she accidentally knocks the pizza guy unconscious with her touch. Great, she’s cursed. Unfortunately, neither of her jealous lovers is exactly talking to her right now.
So after Jackie strikes a deal with a crafty demon, she and her best friend Remy take a cross-country road trip to deliver a cryptic message to the nation’s oldest succubus (who doesn’t look a day over eighteen.) Their journey gets weirder with every mile—demonic possession, a charming stalker, a deadly hotel room warning—but when they get to New Orleans, Jackie discovers a dangerous catch to her supernatural bargain. Someone wants her dead (again), but has she been sleeping with the enemy?
Or do the forces of evil think they’re some kind of match for a vixen in a miniskirt?
Also getting a lot of buzz, is Courtney Milan’s historical romance debut, Proof of Seduction.
When Dr. Elliott Drake wakes from a mysterious fifty-year sleep, the world as he knew it is gone. Cities are now desolate, and civilization is controlled by deadly immortals. Stranger still is Elliott’s extraordinary new “gift” – he has the power to heal, but it comes with fatal consequences.
A woman with a past
Jade barely escaped the immortals and is now hell-bent on revenge. She trusts no one… until Elliott. His piercing gaze and tempting touch shatter her defenses, but the handsome doctor seems to have dangerous secrets of his own. Is it safe to trust him with her heart?
If they are to survive in this dark new world, Jade and Elliott must work together to fight the forces that takes them beyond danger.
Beyond desire.
Beyond the night.
Simon Japp will never forget his violent past. But when civilization is all but destroyed, he sees his chance for redemption. Blessed with a strange “gift,” he’s determined to help the resistance against the Strangers, the mysterious force that stalks them at every turn. He can’t afford to get distracted, even by the stunning, soft-spoken woman fighting by his side…
Sage Corrigan has learned to be careful where she places her trust. But she sees something good in Simon, even if he can’t see it in himself. Posing as lovers to infiltrate a group key to their fight, they find that their staged affection soon develops into a desire that will leave them fighting for their lives in the night eternal…
Zoe Kapoor is on her own quest for vengeance, searching for the monstrous fiends who murdered her family. Soon she and Quent join together, journeying through the ruins of the world they once knew as a desperate desire builds between them. Drawing closer to an enemy they never imagined, Zoe and Quent must abandon all fear, abandon all regret, abandon the night … if they want to stay alive.
Grimshaw knows an ancient evil surrounds the diadem— the same evil once hunted him and still haunts his mind. However, experience has taught him to keep his suspicions to himself or risk being denounced as a madman. Again.
Harried by curses, bandits and unnatural creatures, Strange and Grimshaw plunge onward. But when a demonic power wakes and the civilized world descends into revolution, their tenuous friendship is threatened as each man must face the destruction of the life he has known.
They call it Deadtown: the city’s quarantined section for its inhuman and undead residents. Most humans stay far from its borders — but Victory Vaughn, Boston’s only professional demon slayer, isn’t exactly human…
Vicky’s demanding job keeping the city safe from all manner of monsters is one reason her relationship with workaholic lawyer (and werewolf) Alexander Kane is in constant limbo. Throw in a foolhardy zombie apprentice, a mysterious demon-plagued client, and a suspicious research facility that’s taken an unwelcome interest in her family, and Vicky’s love life has as much of a pulse as Deadtown’s citizens.
But now Vicky’s got bigger things to worry about. The Hellion who murdered her father ten years ago has somehow broken through Boston’s magical protections. The Hellion is a ruthless force of destruction with a personal grudge against Vicky, and she’s the only one who can stop the demon before it destroys the city and everyone in it.

Great list! I'm particularly looking forward to Courtney Milan's 'Proof by Seduction'. I enjoyed her novella in 'The Heart of Christmas'.
I'm also looking forward to the new Victoria Dahl contemporary, 'Lead Me On'. Both Kathleen O'Reilly and Sarah Mayberry have Blaze books coming out in January. Last but not least, the third book in Elisabeth Naughton's romantic adventure trilogy, 'Stolen Seduction', will be released on 29 December. So many great books to look forward to!
Leontine says
I'm joining you in the excitement for Jill Myles, the cover alone whetted my apitites but the blurb made me pre-order it instantly! And look here…a new author for me: Joss Ware, this series sounds nice :)
Thanks for the heads up Mandi!

I'm really looking forward to reading Deadtown. I loving UF more and more. Great list Mandi.
Mandi says
Sarah – we do have lots of goodies coming out in the next few months. I've never read Victoria Dahl..I should probably remedy that!
Leontine – Joss Ware/Colleen Gleason writes the Gardella Vampire series and it is sooo good – a historical paranormal romance. I am really looking forward to seeing this side of her!
Mandi says
FV- Deadtown looks like all kinds of awesome. Can't wait to read it!
A Buckeye Girl Reads says
Why do you do this to us? :) So many great releases coming out! I am so printing this page out.
I hate it when authors switch genres-mainly because I've lost so many great historical romance authors to whatever genre is trendiest.
Caitlin says
Oooh… Can't wait to read both books by Jill Myles! Mostly because of the sexy eye candy on front. Yummy!
VampFanGirl says
Yowza! Thanks for the awesome list Mandi!

'Deadtown' looks amazing! And its got one of the coolest covers I've seen all year.
Speaking of authors swapping genres – the one that comes to mind isn't so much a genre-swap but a rating-swap. Melissa Marr contracted for her first adult book. I am really looking forward to this one. Not sure when it's coming out (2010/2011?) but the 'Wicked Lovely' series is pretty steamy, and that's YA. I can't wait to see what Marr does when she has no PG restrictions!

LOL Stacy!
Thank you Mandi! I'm hanging out for Mind Games…and Josh Lanyon's new book sounds gooood! I haven't read the Adrian English books yet *hangs head* but they are on my TBR list and I do know who Adrian and Jake are :)
A Buckeye Girl Reads says
Probably not as many as I think, but three who come to mind are: Jude Deveraux, Julie Garwood & Catherine Coulter. More recently Jade Lee-I'm not sure if she's stopped writing historical altogether but her last two books were paranormal romances.
Donna [Fantasy Dreamer's Ramblings] says
Gentlemen Prefer Succubi looks very good and hot. I'm definitely going to check that one out. Carolyn's looks awesome, can't wait for that one. Great list! Thanks for sharing. My TBR list just grew, again. ;)
Liza says
Mandi, you just added many books to my already crazy TBB list. I already had Carolyn's book on the list, but add a few more after your post.
I love trying new authors and even trying favorite authors who try new genres.
Patti says
I saw Jill Miles' stuff through Odd Shots and I'm definitely interested in checking those out. I'm also waiting for Carolyn Crane's book. Josh Lanyon is another author I'd like to try but I think I've got to read his other stuff first?
Mandi says
Danielle – Yes – Melissa Marr. I had heard she is entering the non-YA genre..really looking forward to it!
EH – We just even each other out :)
Orianna – I know all about you and your tbr pile ;) Adrien and Jake..oh so good. The fifth and final book is coming out this Dec..not to add to your pile or anything :)
