March 3, 2010 by Mandi

I’m happy to have Stephanie Julian back to Smexy today!

Stephanie Julian

I love writing series.

As a writer for Ellora’s Cave, I’ve got two going at the moment: Magical Seduction and Lucani Lovers.

While both feature the magical Etruscans in contemporary times, the first deals with the Fata, the fairy race of the Etruscans. These are the winged fairies and pointy-eared elves, the half-hided satyrs and tiny glowing pixies.

The second series focuses on the bad boys (and girls) of the Etruscans, the werewolves.

Who doesn’t love a good bad boy? And werewolves make the best.

They’re naturally dominant, they have innate magic and, at heart, they always have a little bit of the animal about them.

In the first book in the series, KISS OF MOONLIGHT, you met Kyle, a tattooed bad-ass assassin for the werewolf king. He has a soft spot for his teenage daughter, Cat, and wicked hot love for his mate, Tamra.

In MOONLIGHT MÉNAGE, releasing today from Ellora’s Cave, you’ll get to know Nic and Duke. Last seen at the end of KISS, this is the story of their love for one woman.

Tira is a strega, an Etruscan witch who sees the future. And what she’s seen of Nic’s has made her pull away from the two men she loves.

But when Nic and Duke, are nearly killed on a mission, Tira realizes life is too short not to grab onto love with both hands. Which means giving herself to the two men she adores.

And who wouldn’t? Nic’s a little wild, a little reckless but he’s sweet and he loves Tira enough to know when to step away and when to push. Duke… Now, Duke occasionally needs a kick in the ass to move in the right direction. He’s quiet, thoughtful and sometimes too strong for his own good. He adores Tira, though he can’t find the words or the way to tell her, and he loves Nic like a brother. But he’s also more than a little stubborn.

And if I wasn’t writing series, this book might be the last time you’d read about Nic and Duke. Ah, but that’s why I love series.

While KISS OF MOONLIGHT introduced a new cast of characters in the Etruscan world, MÉNAGE will revisit a few favorites and introduce a few new ones I hope you love as much as I do.

And as I work my way through EDGE OF MOONLIGHT, the third book in the Lucani Lovers series, I love checking back in with everyone.

Hope you do too.

Stephanie Julian loves her husband, her sons, writing romance and Junior Mints. Not always in that order. Sometimes the Junior Mints come first. She’s the author of the Magical Seduction and Lucani Lovers series from Ellora’s Cave. You can find her at www.stephaniejulian.com and on Facebook, Twitter and Goodreads. She’s an avid reader and (maybe not so) avid runner.

MOONLIGHT MÉNAGE

For eight years, Etruscan witch Tira Belludi has longed to give herself, body and soul, to the two shifter men who hold her heart. But visions of death and fears for her sanity have forced her to keep her distance.

Nic Rocca and Duke Ducati are brothers in everything but blood and partners who have each other’s backs. They share a home, a job and had planned to share their life with Tira between them…until the night she saw their future and built a fortress around her heart.

Now danger and death stalk Nic and Duke. And Tira must make a choice—grab love while she has the chance or watch Nic die from afar and lose Duke forever.

Thanks Stephanie! You can find my review of Kiss Of Moonlight HERE, and I look forward to starting Moonlight Menage.

Stephanie Julian is offering an e-book of Moonlight Menage to one person! To enter, just leave a comment. Contest open through Friday March 5th, and I will announce the winner on Saturday.

Smokin, After I wrote my first menage, Seduced by Two, I knew I wanted to write another but I didn't intentionally set out to write one for Tira. Nic and Duke just turned up together in Kiss of Moonlight and said Tira was theirs. I said no problem.
