Favorite Quote: “Honey, there’s no one else he could even get hard for. Sad but true.” He tossed the phone aside and reached for her, pulling her into a hot hard kiss. “I’ve never referred to my penis as a he, either,” he breathed into her mouth.

“Better than Mr. Winky”

Jenny Talbot is trying her best to forget about her ex, Ty Randall. After dating him for six years, now that they have broken for a month, it is hard to move on. They started off strong together, but recently, he has pulled back, being distant, and the more Jenny tried to liven things up, the more he disappeared. Eventually, she told him she had had enough, and he didn’t argue.

Jenny currently works for Hunks Du Jour, an online dating service but she kept it a secret from Ty. As she is approving applications, none other than Ty himself has requested access. Stunned, Jenny decides to take matters into her own hand and asks for a date under the name “Tie Me Up.” When Ty sees that name, he tries to get excited, but the only woman he wants is Jenny – and he is determined to win her back.

Ex Appeal is the second Hunks Du Jour book I have read, and Cari Quinn definitely knows how to write a hunky hero. Ty is all sorts of yummy goodness, a man who doesn’t want Jenny to be fake or try to hard. He just wants her – plain and simple. Jenny is a cute and likable heroine. After years of dating, and the communication having gone down the tubes, their relationship soon followed. But now they are both ready to give it another shot – and that means sex. A lot of it. I think a little more talking and looking closely at their relationship would have been in order, but the path they take includes lots of naked time, so who am I to complain?  And Cari Quinn definitely delivers the very hot sex scenes. She dives right into the naughty, and it is a good place to be. And don’t let Ty fool you – he wants Jenny to be herself, but he is not afraid to explore and try new things.

I enjoy Cari Quinn’s books and always look forward to her next release.
