10. My week – Holy wow it’s August already. I attempted to go school supply shopping…yeah..remind me to go in June next year. I thought I was doing well going three weeks before school starts :)
9. Chloe Neill has announced that there will be three (5,6,7) more Chicagoland Vampire books. Which means more Ethan! More Catcher! More Merit and Mallory. Hooray! Hard Bitten, book four is due out next summer.
8. A new feature from Tori for the top ten: I saw this on Shiloh Walker’s blog and thought it was a fab idea. What a great way to find new books to read. It’s called the Friday 56.

4. Lover Unleashed, book nine in JR Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series is available for pre-order at Amazon. They say it will be released March 29th! On my birthday – I am sure she did that just for me ;) This will be Payne and Manny’s book. (ps – I’m not so sure about Manny……)
3. Jeaniene Frost tells us we are getting three Bones and Cat stories in 2011. This is awesome news. Go HERE to see what she has to say.
2. I am currently reading Wicked Intentions by Elizabeth Hoyt and I am LOVING it. I am only about halfway through but I think it will be making my favorite list for 2010. First, I love the names Hoyt uses – Lazarus, Temperance, Winter, Silence, Concord etc.. And Lazarus our hero – oh, is he a fun one. So mysterious and dark. He likes to talk dirty and try to get a shock out of our innocent Temperance. I say – go on with your bad ass 18th century self! That is until he uses the word “cunny.” Ugh. I can’t stand that word. That word should not be allowed to be used in books! It makes me cringe. I will forgive Elizabeth Hoyt this time….but can we just stop saying that word?
1. We decided to take a long weekend away – the above shirt was on the counter when we checked into the hotel in Pennsylvania. Yes, we are staying in Intercourse, PA. Apparently the Amish know something we don’t. Have a great weekend!!

I must say that I totally agree with you about the "cunny" word. Some authors I will forgive, but I don't understand why it needs to be used. Aren't there enough words out there that mean the same thing?! Or they could invent their own word — you know, start a new trend…

And 'cunny' – totally agree. It needs to be on some sort of 'never allowed to be used in romance books' list for authors. The same list that needs to include the word 'teeming' when used to describe any girlie or guy bits.
