Last night, JR Ward had one of her crazy online chats – the kind where your eyeballs start to bleed towards the end trying to keep up with everything ;)
Earlier in the week, I posted spoilers from her book signing – Go HERE to read those. Much of what she said last night she had previously addressed..but we get a few more thing.
There is too much Vishous in Lover Unleashed to do much with Mhurder..but we will see him again
Her plan is to finish the Rhage/Mary novella, then write Wrath/Beth and then get to Blay/Qhuinn. Her publisher is interested in the Qhuay novella but it needs to be fleshed out more. She assures us the Qhuay novella “will cover everything.” She also said these novellas will not interfere with her spring BDB and fall Angel releases.
When asked if Vishous and Butch were going to “get together” in Lover Unleashed she says “Sometimes what you need you don’t crave but you have to have it anyway” and then “There is something of Butch and V – I’ll tell you that”
Let me just say – Ward is tricky with her wording – she always has been. So who really knows what is going to happen with V/Butch. But maybe something? *crosses fingers*
In her book signing she said there would be six new brothers introduced. We see some of them in Lover Unleashed. One is named “Xcor” (which is pronounced Core)
Lover Unleashed cover will be BLUE and she will release it this coming week.
She eventually wants to write Trez and iAm’s books. She knows who iAm will end up with but we have not met her yet.
The Omega is still going strong, although the Scribe Virgin is fading. The question is, what happens if she is gone?
Manny gets his memory erased too many times and it changes him until he is rendered useless. Then we will have to see what happens.
Rhage and Mary won’t adopt a human baby, but they find a way.
Blay doesn’t become a brother (at least she hasn’t “seen” it yet) But he does continue to fight.
She has no idea which brother is up after Payne.
Those were the big things from the chat. She also talked a bit about her Angel Series but nothing super noteworthy.

I'm both excited and dreading (slightly) there being a lot of Vishous in Lover Unleashed because I know it's not going to be a party for him. I do look forward to the novellas. Rhage is going to be a really cool father and Mary of course is going to be an ideal mom.

I think I would go mental if I would join a chat of Ward LOL I will see where Ward takes the BDB series, my experience is, the less I know the better the reading experience of a BDB reease :)) Still, these small tidbits are interesting!

Thanks Mandi!! I think I'm the only person that could care less about Butch and V. I like V, but Butch – eh… I've never really cared for him. Probably b/c for some unknown reason, I see Dennis Franz in my head whenever I think Butch. LOL. But for me, I've had enough of Vutch. I want Qhuay!
And Xcor?! That is Ward's most favorite (and commonly used) word for "female pleasure spot." The tweets going on during the chat were hilarious!

Thanks for continuing to give us the low-down on all the Ward action on her forum. I've tried to keep up, but that discussion board is a labyrinth!
I'm really interested in this whole Manny being "rendered useless," especially since he's the hero of her upcoming title.
