10. My Week – My week has been full of book jitters. I got an unexpected offer of an arc that made me jittery (I’m not saying what it is…I’m a tease), then I registered for the Author’s After Dark Conference (see below) which made me jittery, and then the cover for Lover Unleashed released – JITTERS. All good jitters, but I’m now exhausted!
9. The cover of Lover Unleashed was released this week. I know I already posted, but it needs to be posted again. Now that I have had a few days to soak it in. I love it – Payne and her intense eyes are a nice touch. This book comes out on my birthday – although with this birthday I will be firmly rooted into my middle 30’s (sobbing) at least I have sexy vampires to cheer me up! If we get any type of sexy times with Vishous, I will be a verra happy girl.

8. I love the Bake It Pretty website – especially for Christmas time. They have the cutest decorating supplies and little baking things for gifts. My mom first introduced it to me last year when she bought me the “Wrath” spice (see above picture). And yes, she bought it because of the BDB. I love my mom!
7. So I love my iPhone. That is no secret..even though it is total ghetto mode at the moment. Trust me, the last time I cracked it, it was worse. Now there is the new Windows Phone. Now – hubs got to play with one and he swears it makes the iphone “look stupid,” and he loves his iPhone. Apparently the interface something something is better. I zone out when the technical words come out. So now do I ask Smexy Claus for a new iphone or a Windows phone?? Decisions! Smexy Claus seems to think I don’t deserve a new phone because they keep mysteriously cracking *ahem* It’s not my fault I drop them..for real.
6. Y’all know I love me a hairy man. I mean – grow a ‘stache and beard and I will swoon. Grow the perfect scruff and there is no sayin’ what I might do. Bells posted about Hugh Jackman this week and this picture is one of my favorite magazine covers ever. I’m not even a huge Hugh Jackman fan….but the scruff..omg the scruff. Now I’m inspired (it doesn’t take much) to write another hairy man post. Bells will me helping me out next week.
Speaking of hairy men, Kati tweeted this week about Whisker Wars. Yes, a reality show that showcases competitive facial hair growing. This could be epic! Or extremely boring.

4. Don’t be hatin’ now, but I got an arc of Archangel’s Consort and I finished it last night. I will be posting my thoughts to Goodreads tonight, and will hold off on the review at Smexy until closer to release date. My review on Goodreads will be spoiler free for Archangel’s Consort. I urge you to read the first two books in this series – Angels’ Blood and Archangel’s Kiss before reading this review though. This is one of my favorite series!! These books are absolute must reads for any paranormal fan out there.
3. Registration opened this week for Authors After Dark. Held in Philadelphia August 11-14, it will feature many authors (Larissa Ione, Meljean Brook, Zoe Archer…) I’m so excited to be going! It looks like it is geared towards readers and bloggers. There are great workshops and A TON of bloggers coming! I can’t wait to meet everyone. The registration fee is $130 (plus hotel room etc..) 1. This weekend I am reading The Princess in His Bed by Lila Dipasqua. She writes naughty twists on fairy tales and I really liked her first book. Also celebrating my dad’s birthday and it’s the last week for my kids soccer. Woo and Hoo! Happy Friday!

They just don't make phones like they used to. Years ago, I had one of the StarTac flip phones by Motorola for about a decade. It was ugly gray plastic and darn near indestructible. Too bad they can't improve the phone quality along with the technology!
