Jasmine Haynes completes her sensuous and erotic Courtesan trilogy with three deliciously spicy novellas that prove that everyone has a second chance at finding love. Three emotionally gratifying couples whose well written stories fill our hearts and steam up our windows with tales of finding love one more time.

The Only Way Out- Dani Dawson had it all until her husband Kern passed away. Working as a Courtesan she and Kern fulfilled their every desire, but now she has to face this world alone. Or does she. Her brother in law Mac Dawson promised his brother Kern he would watch out for Dani but he had no idea of the secret lifestyle Dani and Kern indulged in. As he steps into Dani’s world, can he convince her that he’s the only one for her?

Dani and Mac are oh so steamy hot together. Both have control issues but Dani has learned the art of compromise and I enjoyed watching her teach it to Mac. The ending is realistic and felt very right.

Rating: B.

The Wrong Kind Of Man- Cleo Carpenter has lusted after Walker Randell for a long time. But she sees the women he dates and knows he’s out of her league. When a twist of events lands Cleo in Walker’s arms neither of them complain. But Walker has a secret, he’s a Courtesan, and he knows that telling Cleo may end what they have before it ever starts. Can Walker convince Cleo that he is the right man for her?
This was not my favorite in this trio. Cleo and Walker went serious fast and it felt a little forced.

I loved Walker. Something about build bald men gets me hot. RAWR! He comes across very smooth and open. Cleo bothered me a bit. She loves naughty sex but has had some bad luck with men so she’s guy shy about relationships. She gives off a self righteous attitude that clears up at the end but leaves a lingering after taste. I didn’t get a good chemistry between the two of them.

Rating: C

No Second Chances- Isobel, the madam of Courtesans, has a fabulous life. She rose from nothing to building an empire of fantasy. But she has never forgotten her first love Royce. Royce is ecstatic to find Isobel again and vows nothing will keep him from her ever again. But Royce doesn’t know of Isobel’s lifestyle and Isobel’s afraid that once he knows everything, he will walk out of her life for good.

Isobel is an extremely sensual and intelligent woman. She knows what she likes and wants in a relationship and has no excuses about her lifestyle. Royce is vanilla and though he doesn’t understand why Isobel does what she does, he’s willing to try anything to be with her. I found the chemistry between them to arc off the pages. Very erotic. Isobel forces Royce into her lifestyle but the ending more then makes up for it when she finally learns to give a little herself.

Rating: B.
