Indigo Hartley is a plus-size model for Exquisite Flesh, a fetish modeling agency. It pays the bills – especially her culinary tuition, which is her true dream. When she gets asked to be a last minute replacement as a centerpiece in a sushi restaurant, it combines both of her worlds – food and fetish. Chef Faust is presenting a very unique sushi display, and Indigo shows up with her tattoos and blue-streaked hair – and doesn’t quite get the reception she was hoping for from his staff.
When Banner Faust sets his eyes on Indigo, he knows she is something special. When she acts submissive towards him, this turns him on even more. Being a dominant in the BDSM world, he sees Indigo and wants her. Banner proposes Indigo spend the next three days with him, and Indigo readily agrees.
Wrapped Around Your Finger is quite the naughty book. It not only gives us a glimpse inside a BDSM lifestyle, but we also get a little food fetish to go along with it. The smex is hot, erotic, and Banner presents a nice dominant. He knows exactly what he wants – however this is where my problem lies. These two people don’t know each other, but after one evening of a working relationship Banner asks Indigo to come home with him for three days to try BDSM which she has never done and she very readily accepts. As their time progresses together, I felt like Banner accepts or falls for Indigo way too easily. Physically they are great together, but the emotions lack just a little bit.
Other than that, I really enjoyed this novella. The sex scenes have a little extra edge to them that I really liked. I enjoyed Indigo and her self discovery. This is the first erotic contemporary I have read by Fallon Blake and I hope she writes more.
