One of the fun things about this romance community are all of the wonderful conferences as a reader you are able to go to. One such conference will be the RT Booklovers Conference held April 6-10 in Los Angeles. Now while that is across the country from me and not possible to attend this year, I know many, many authors and bloggers who will be going. If it is in your neighborhood, check out the schedule of events. There will be book signings, parties, and a variety of panels.
In particular, the Reader Panels look like my kind of thing! Purple Prose Taboo with Victoria Dahl, Courtney Milan, and Tessa Dare, Sex in the Gritty or the Ugly Truth with Barry Eisler and Jennifer St. Giles, Can We Talk? Get-Together to talk Books with Jane from Dear Author and Sarah from Smart Bitches just to name a few. For a full list of the Reader Panels go HERE.
Do you have plans to attend this year’s RT conference? Have you been in the past? Any tips for those going for the first time?

I won't be attending RT this year but I will be at Comic Con in San Deigo in July. Next year RomCon will be in southern California so I hope to attend that. All depends on how much $$$$$ I can save *fingers crossed*

I'm going this year, but only to the book signing, never been to one this size so I am very much looking forward to it!

I've never been. Heard about RT a little too late to attend, even though I'm in LA. Looking forward to attending AAD later this year, though!

This will be my first RT. I just got finished finalizing dinner and breakfast plans with a few authors. Yay! I also got wrangled into writing an RT blog post(my first – yikes!) for an online blogger friend. I am over scheduled with workshops for sure. Anxious, overwhelmed and excited is how I can best be described. I feel like I should start packing NOW. LOL

I haven't been to RT before. I am hoping to go this year, to the Book Fair, but I'm not sure if that's going to happen. (Gotta find someone to watch the kids since hubby is working that day.)
