10. My Week – I’ve made a week as a 33 year old. I’m pretty sure I have excessive eye wrinkles and gray hair now. To make myself feel more youthful I bought tickets to see the Scissor Sisters this June with three girlfriends. Woo to the Hoo!!! I love Jake Shears and Babydaddy something fierce.
9. I am officially going to the Lori Foster Reader and Author Get Together! Taking place in Cincinnati in early June. Some of my favorite authors will be there – Nalini Singh, Shiloh Walker, Monica Burns, Moira Rogers just to name a few. There are a ton of authors coming! Check the list here. I’m so excited – and it is only $50 for the weekend (plus hotel room). You can’t beat that. Registration is open through mid-May. Let me know if you are coming!
8. Kresley Cole announced in her newsletter this week that Lothaire’s book is next, releasing January 10, 2012. Right now on Goodreads the title is listed as “Lothaire". I wonder if that will change? I’m also DYING FOR HIS BOOK!!! And who will his heroine be??? I need to know these things!
Also – she announced a spin-off series coming August 2012 and a new YA series Fall of 2012. Whoa. 2012 is going to be a big year for Kresley Cole!
7. Thank goodness for hubs who filters out the good tv shows for me! The Killing premiered on AMC last Sunday and it is my new favorite show. It follows homicide detectives as they hunt for the person who killed a high school girl. There are a lot of twists and turns, and the entire show was so suspenseful I couldn’t look away. Has a great cast too including Mireille Enos who played Jodeen on Big Love (Love her), Billy Campbell, and someone who is new to me – Joel Kinnamon as one of the detectives (Oh hello there Joel). Good stuff – go check it out :)
6. Cover Alert! Archangel’s Blade by Nalini Singh – This will be Dmitri’s book. What do we think of the cover? Not my favorite…but I’m so excited for this book! Releasing this September.

Congrats on surviving your 1st week as a 33 yr old. Though 33 isn't too bad – you can still offically refer to yourself as being in your 'early 30's'. 34-36 is 'mid-thirties'. The depressing yr is 37, since it pushes you into your late (*gasp*) thirties.

It's channeling Kevin Nealon to me *cries* – I can't STAND the cover and I am not usually a cover critique because I know it has nothing to do with the book or the author and the people who put it together are TRYIGN, but omg it's NOOOOOOOOO! That being said – sweet fancy I am waiting for it!
ON THAT NOTE – I think Envy might be my favorite cover of the series thus far! I am behind on this series, I only read Covet and not Crave so I gotta catch up but I met Veck in LU :P

I have to say I'm not impressed. *mini rant* she has told readers that the two worlds are different – yes some crossover, but I thought once the series was up and running, they'd stay separate, but NO! Then she has to "pimp" her other series by adding an unnecessary section to LU. GRRRR *end rant* But the cover is nice. I still have Crave sitting on my shelf, unopened.

So glad you're enjoying 33. I had a very demanding one year old when I turned 33 so I was pretty busy. When I turned 30 my sister who is 15 years older said enjoy your face cuz when you hit forty you will miss all that great skin tone – dang it she was right, the subtle loosening of the skin around my chin and my neck that started in my early forties -eek! I didn't appreciate my thirties so I'm trying to enjoy every age.
Hope you don't mind that I came out of lurk mode, between you, Fiction Vixen and Katiebabs I have had some great reads in the last year so I do like to hang out to read your reviews!

Am very glad to hear your first week of being 33 went well :)
I do like the cover of Envy…but I am not surprised that Veck is the hero in the next Fallen Angel book. (I have a running bet with myself over how humans are portrayed in the BDB books, and Jose seems to be the only one who is allowed to come across as competent. So when Veck made an appearance I knew he would be ‘other’.)
And the Lori Foster weekend sounds amazing – enjoy!
I am way excited about a.) Lothaire. Yay! I do wonder who the heroine will be. No idea. and b.) Yes to Envy. I think Veck’s character is really deep already and can’t wait for Ward to flesh him out.
