All Naomi has ever wanted is to find a nice human mate who will love her, take care of her and most of all, allow her to live a quiet, non-violent, drama free life. She wants to decorate her home with beautiful things without having to worry about fights breaking out leaving everything broken in the aftermath. Naomi has good reason to wish for a nice quiet life. She is a wolf shifter and as the only girl in a house with five brothers she has seen more than enough of what can happen when a male lets his wolf loose. So she is completely unprepared when she meets her mates. Yes, “mates” as in two of them!

The last place Naomi wants to be on a Friday night is at a lacrosse game, but she lets her friend talk her into it. Organized sports don’t do it for her and as this is a shifter league, the chance of a fight erupting is almost a guarantee. While she’s sitting there, watching the game, she is drawn to one of the players, number 44. Her wolf is agitated and she can’t figure out why. Her friend jokingly tells her that maybe her mate is nearby. That is the last thing Naomi wants. She absolutely does not want a shifter for a mate. As she continues to watch, she happens to catch the eye of number 44 and as their eyes meet he misses a pass and the ball flies up into the stands right into Naomi’s face.

Back in the locker room Ethan, number 44, is mortified. He tells his fellow player and best friend, Javier, that he thinks he has found his mate. Javier can’t believe it, but is very thankful that it’s not him. Ethan is determined to find the woman to make sure she’s okay. Javier agrees to help him.

Naomi is resting at her parent’s home when she hears the doorbell and subsequent growls and snarls. Wondering who it could possibly be, she walks to the door to find Ethan there. She’s surprised to see him, but even worse, as she locks eyes with Javier, she realizes the impossible. They are both her mates. How could fate be so cruel? It’s not enough that fate saw fit to mate her to a shifter in the first place, but two? Both Ethan and Javier are shocked. While they’ve shared women in the past, they never thought they’d be mates to the same woman.

Naomi is as determined not to mate Ethan and Javier as they are to mate with Naomi and what follows is a wonderful ride watching Ethan and Javier go all out to prove to Naomi that they can be the kind of men she’s always dreamed of being with. They can and will control their shifter natures because she wants it. But Naomi is not going to give in, even with her own mother giving the guys helpful hints to woo and win Naomi over. Along the way, Naomi’s life is threatened and the guys really step up to protect her while courting her at the same time. Of course, Naomi wants none of it, thinking she can take care of herself.

I was entertained by this story. I especially enjoyed the fact that while Naomi is a wolf shifter, Ethan is a kodiak bear and Javier is a panther. I have not read many shifter books where species intermingle and I liked the authors spin on this. I love how Ethan and Javier, both known womanizers, simply give up that lifestyle once they meet Naomi and she truly becomes their one and only. Naomi is a great character; tough and strong and it was interesting to watch her come to the realization that what she thought she wanted wasn’t really what she wanted at all! My ‘dislike’ is that I was able to figure out who was responsible for the main conflict within the story right away and that took away some of my enjoyment. The resolution was done well and the story ends with a cute surprise! It would be fun to see more of these characters, Naomi’s brothers included, as they were very entertaining.

I am not into erotica books, but I sure love your review! How hot is this one? Are they literally sharing her? Or first the one, then the other?
