10. Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone and I feel like a baby elephant. Probably weigh as much as one. :( We went to my in laws and ate like dieters at an all you eat chocolate buffet. It wasn’t pretty. Now it is time to drag out the Christmas decorations and get into the holiday spirit. 0_o
9. I decided to break my never breakable rule and do some Black Friday shopping. I left the house at 4am to hit some stores for some killer deals. Being that my personality is normally acidic… can you imagine what a joy I am at 4am? While I did pick up some great presents, I will NEVER, EVER, EVER do that again. Ever!!! Amen and pass the Valium.
8. We are coming down to the wire on the 2011 Goodreads Choice Awards. I’ll be honest here. I wasn’t impressed by the original list we were given to vote on. I found myself having to write in quite a few books that weren’t listed and that made me a little suspicious. But, since I’m always suspicious, we’ll just leave it at that.
Here is the list of the final books. I’m VERY happy to see Ilona Andrews Magic Slays made it to the finals. The Romance category left me feeling a little meh though. While I enjoyed the books there, none of them I would have considered great romances.
7. See my pretty precioussssss? I absolutely LOVE my Kindle Fire. It’s so easy to navigate and use. PLUS…no net galley download problems. ZOMG.

6. Who loves Kelsey Cole???? WE LOVE KELSEY COLE!!!!!!
Though all of us are waiting with barely civilized restraint for the much anticipated release of Lothaire (Immortals After Dark, #12) *swoon*, it has just been brought to my attention that Ms. Cole is starting a new series that spins off her IAD series. The first book is called Shadow’s Claim (Realm of Blood and Mist #1). Set to release August 21st 2012 by Pocket Books, this series is based on the Decians-the horde of Dacia.

5. I was so excited when I heard Versace has opted to release another collection for H&M. I am so loving the fruit sandals. I got a sad though when I heard this collection will only be offered online. Which means if you live in the US, you are SOL because H&M won’t offer online sales to the US till Fall 2012 and this collection releases Jan 19. *sob*
4. I just finished up Marjorie M Liu’s Within The Flames and Sierra Dean’s Deep Dark Secret. Seriously, add both to your TBRs because they are fantastic!! This weekend am starting Nancy Collin’s Left Hand Magic and finishing up Dean Koontz’s What The Night Knows.

I have told Mandi time and time again that she REALLY needs to read Alyssa Day’s Atlantis series. She has blew me off repeatedly (LOL just kidding). My fellow Smexy reviewer May also has been pushing the greatness that is this series on Mandi and between the two of us, I am happy to report that Mandi has given in to the peer pressure and has purchased the first book in the series, Atlantis Rising. Can’t wait to hear what she thinks.

I am a huge Sierra Dean fan. I am loving her Secret series. I have Deep Dark Secret but haven’t had a chance to read it but i know i’ll love it already lol The Kindle Fire looks awesome and i want one but will have to just live with my Kindle for now. Glad you are enjoying yours!
