10. My Week – I don’t have much to report this week. My septic is done. I know you all have been waiting on pins and needles for that news. My kids can flush the toilet without being totally freaked out. I swear I won’t talk about my toilets anymore. Someone did have a good suggestion last week that Mike Rowe should have been the one to come out to do our “dirty job.” *grins*
9. Did you all see the teaser Karen Marie Moning put on her Facebook page for Iced (her new series coming out this fall featuring Dani from her Fever Books) I saw a lot of people on Twitter say they had no intentions of reading the spoilers quite yet. This one is interesting. I’m not really sure what to make of it, but I’m intrigued.
8. I saw some fun tweets from @amypierpont this week. She tweeted pictures from the photo shoot for Elizabeth Hoyt’s upcoming, Lord of Darkness, part of her Maiden Lane series. If you click on the link above, and scroll back a ways, you will see lots of pictures and fun commentary.
Regarding the Maiden Lane series (one of my favorite historical series out there!) here is what we have ahead of us:

Lord of Darkness (#5) Godrich St. John (you meet him in Wicked Intentions –Lord Caire’s good friend - I think he has a very ill wife in that book??) I don’t know his heroine. – December 31, 2012
Duke of Midnight (#6) – Maximus Batten, Duke of Wakefield’s book. He’s also heroine of Notorious Pleasures brother.- 2013.
I adore this series. Highly recommend it.

1. My Weekend – The Ravens have a HUGE game this Sunday. They will beat the Patriots and go on to the Super Bowl It’s a done deal. I’m also going to read my first Julia London book, The Revenge of Lord Eberlin. Happy Friday!
Do you remember Mr. Bates from somewhere else? Was he a leader if the workers who were employed by John Thornton/RICHARD ARMITAGE (swoon) in North and South miniseries?? If so, he was great in that too!
I just looked him up because I couldn’t remember – yes! That was him. He is a great actor. (And I love N&S!!!)

I *discreetly* watched the little clip that got circulated around twitter last night of Mr. Fassbender in Shame. And oh dear Lord, let me just say I needed a cold shower afterward. But it did raise a lot of questions for me, along with my eyebrows, about how actors “act” through sex scenes such as that. I mean what I saw was basically soft-core porn, and it was intense, if you get my drift.
I know..I mean – it looks like there is a lot of sex. I wish they would show us behind the scenes stuff! Very intrigued to see the movie.
I love the cover (and excerpt) for Lethal Rider. Each cover for this series is getting better and better.

I am one of the ones who decided to wait to read the ICED teaser. The release date is just SO far away & I can’t take it! I want it NOW! So I’m gonna try & hold out till closer til the release date.
KMM also just posted that next week she’s going to announce where FeverCon 2012 will be held :) I’ve been waiting FOREVER for this announcement because I actually get to go this year! I’m hoping its somewhere on the east coast or not too far. It will be my first ever book event :) I’m so so so freakin’ excited!!! *bounces in chair* Is anyone here planning on going to FeverCon?
