Our Author After Dark 2012 Spotlights continues with the adorable Megan Grooms.
Megan lives in NC with her her very own hero, her sexy Marine husband, AJ. A fur baby lover, they have four dogs (three black lab mixes and one German Shepard) and three cats (all nameless mixes). All indoor pets. YAY!! Megan works at an animal hospital during the day (everyone now is saying oh… that’s why all the pets) and writes at night. Writing is her passion and her first book was published on March 15th 2011, titled Finding Samantha.
Megan writes on her author page: “I write a very wide range of books. Romance being the first to be published however I have (in various stages of completion) quite a few different kinds. The first and my baby is an Urban Fantasy (Vampires, Werewolves, and a few new things that go bump in the night). There is also one that is in the future with Vampires, Werewolves and a Huntress that kills the baddies when they have misbehaved. I have one that has three sister witches that have special powers (a fictional story with the sisters based upon myself and my sisters). A science fiction one that is more young adult than strictly adult like the rest (mostly because I started writing it when I was in middle school), and a young adult mainstream story.”
Megan doesn’t just love reading and writing though. In her spare time, she is a TV/movie buff. Her must watches are Supernatural (Hello, Jenson Ackles), Doctor Who, Being Human, Angel, Castle, Bones, Firefly. she also loves the classic Marvel comics that are being made into movies though she claims never actually read comics when she was little. Her other passion is music.
Discover Megan Grooms in her romantic contemporary that explores lost love and second chances in Finding Samantha, first in her Rolling Hills series.

Right away he feels something for her, something he thought he would never feel again. Knowing he is risking his heart Luke decides that Sam is worth it. Can he help her get over her loss and love again, or will she break his heart as well?

I have to say that I’m enjoying these spotlights even though I’m not going to AAD. I’m finding lots of new authors. :)
