When I think of summer reading, I think about grabbing my Kindle, a lawn chair and a cold beverage and just enjoying what I read. I don’t want it too deep or dark – but fun. So I’ve tried to pull out my favorite fun reads for my summer reading list.

Contemporary:

Jill Shavis’s Lucky Harbor series. Funny, sexy, with really great alpha heroes. They are all stand alones but the first three and the second three kind of go together. Good stuff.

These three are all fun and flirty quick reads. Each author also has a pretty good backlist to dive into as well.

Liam’s Perfect Woman by Beth Kery is a small town romance that combine two families that have a shared tragedy. (ok, this one is a little more serious…LOL) Goodreads, Amazon

Her Best Worst Mistake by Sarah Mayberry has a very serious, stuffy hero and a heroine that…unstuffs him. I liked it a lot. Goodreads, Amazon

Doukakis’s Apprentice by Sarah Morgan also has a very arrogant, serious hero and a very quirky, humorous heroine. I loved this book. Goodreads, Amazon

I love Victoria Dahl’s Tumble Creek series. So sexy. Especially Lead Me On. Chase has tattooes and a shaved head. And he is a sexy beast. I also recommend Crazy for Love. Goodreads, Amazon

Paranormal:

I really enjoy the Southern Arcana series by Moira Rogers. I think best read in order, as the world builds in each book. Very sexy shifters. Goodreads, Amazon.

Molly Harper makes me laugh out loud. A lot. I adore her voice and her characters are so warm and familiar.. Goodreads, Amazon.

Control by Charlotte Stein. It’s filthy. No, I mean, really, really filthy. I think I giggled and got embarrassed more than once. The heroine is so much fun and there are two men – one very, very alpha, and one very, very beta. Oh yes.  For a less erotic book by this author, I recommend Sheltered. Very good story. Male/Male

Grey’s Awakening by Cameron Dane. Oh the smex in this book. Need I even say anymore? Goodreads, Amazon (fine I’ll say one more thing – there is a scene with butter. You will never look at butter the same again.)

Tigers I will always, always rec this book. One of my all time favorites. Goodreads, Amazon

Bad Boyfriend by KA Mitchell. This one has daddy kink in it. Come on, you know you want to try it. Goodreads, Amazon

I didn’t even get to historicals! Or suspense! Maybe I’ll save those for Autumn Recs. Happy Summer!
