10. Golden balls (aka Beckham) was out shooting an ad in his bulge-tastic panties and tourists got an eyeful?! I wish I had been there.
9. Speaking of an eyeful, I came across this video of my man Tom Hardy playfully dropping pants to get a paintball to the ass. I approve. If you’ve not watched it, I recommend This Means War.
Oh it’s over the top ridiculous, but worth it for Chelsea Handler’s character and this epic scene of Tom Hardy being badass… at paintball.
8. Honeycrisp Apple season is here ladies – and I can’t be happier about it! I adore these apples, I wait all year for them to be ready and waiting for me in my grocery store. I recommend you try one if you haven’t already – so crisp, sweet, delicious, and healthy! As I am a lover of October and these apples are on my top 10 reasons why I love this month, I had to include them. Plus, ya know they’re innocent and clean unlike most of my list. *wink*
7. Speaking of healthy stuff, I’ve been working out in free-weight side of my gym a lot. This means an increase in junk grabbing, swearing, grunting, and excessive testosterone all around me. While on the subject I must ask- am I the only one who when confronted with a man working out – making insanely loud skeevy grunty noises followed by “oh yeahs” that sound like sex noises very badly done – can’t help but imagine how awful it must be for his lady friend during their intimate moments? [I guess I’m just pervy like that] If you want to check out actual attractive men though, without the stink, check out this gallery of men working out… I find it inspiring and wish more of them worked out in my neck of the woods!
6. Which brings me to candy corn. I loves it. Big time. and I hate it. Because if I open a bag I can’t leave it alone and I know that it is some kind of freaky unnatural unholy craptastic treat but it holds me in its power. Oh how I love fall and all that it entails from decorating to cooling weather to, well, Candy Corn!
Did you know there are Candy Corn oreos? I believe they’re only at Target, and I can tell you they are delicious. The Mr. brought a bag home and well, they didn’t last a week I can tell you. I particularly like this article about eating them. You can also find candy corn M&Ms – no idea if those are good or not I can’t quite figure out why we’d need to have candy corn candy… when candy corn is a candy… anyhow. Let me move on immediately.
5. It’s time for some Mr. Worldwide! Daleeeeeeee! You know I can’t take over the top 10 without dragging Pitbull into the mix! His new album comes out next month…
4. I happened to be in Sephora yesterday, and I fell in love instantly with this new Cinderella collection!
I do have a thing for Cinderella (I like to think secretly, she’s quite kick ass and just keeps it hidden under cover as a super sweet girl) and I had to have the lipsticks + the eye shadow palette. I am crossing fingers that this is a wild success, and that they pair up again. I put my vote in for Mulan and also Beauty & the Beast. Because who doesn’t want beast mode cosmetics?
3. Speaking of beast mode, and because I’ve got to try and work at least one book on my list, so I’m telling you that this week Lover Reborn came out in paperback.
Do you read the BDB series? I stopped after Phury’s book which I really disliked, but I am on the verge of jumping back in because they are so cracktastic even when awful. They’re like candy corn of books. You can’t stop even though it isn’t that good anymore! Or is it? Fans, you’ll have to tell me if I need to continue on or not.
2. Have you heard the song Gangham Style? Probably. If not, check out the youtube video. I love that people are doing their own versions of this – including West Point cadets as seen here . But even better – I saw (via ZoeArcher on tumblr) this “Open Condom Style” video…

I hear you about the grunty guys at the gym! There is one guy I refer to as “orgasm guy”. I take off when I see him heading my way. Ugh!

Phury’s book was my least favorite BDB closely followed by Payne’s (V’s sister.) Well to be honest, I just couldn’t finish reading Lover Unleashed… I haven’t read Thor’s because that sucker is still $15 for the ebook and I’m sorry but I just can’t do it (actually, just checked amazon and it seems that it just went to $7.99.) Though I’m sure I’ll break down for Qhuay’s book ’cause those two and their angst are driving me freakin’ nuts.

I love honeycrisp apples too and have been waiting for this time of year. But this year, I was waiting for the SweeTango apples – which is a cross between a Honeycrisp and a Zestar apple (according to wikipedia and sweetango.com). I think they taste almost like candy. You should give them a try, if you can find them near you. This is the second year that my grocery store has had them and I buy lots!
Oh YES! problem is, SweeTangos are $4 a pound here at the moment. I purchased ONE, and it was like 2.40. It was *AMAZEBALLZ* delicious… but with Honeycrisp less than half the price – well I’ll stick to them!

Hey May, Great Top Ten! I’d never heard Tom Hardy speak…didn’t expect the accent. I too have a weakness for candy corn, so I don’t buy it; but might have to give the cookies a try. As for the BDB, I totally hear you. Phury’s book was such a disappointment-but there were parts of it that were worthwhile. I’m not sure where she was heading after that-but John Matthew’s book took us back to the BDB world that we love and I while Payne and Manny’s book was not up to par, I’m looking forward to Lover At Last…though I have huge doubts about her ability to write m/m.
Not a Phury fan, but still the worst JR Ward book is better than most, except maybe Nalini Singh. BTW, thanks for the heads up for “On Dublin Street.” I can’t believe how good it was. Thanks for being honest with your reviews — I may not always agree, but I’d hate the alternative.

You absolutely MUST catch up on the BDB books. I’m with you, Phury’s book is my second least favourite. I’ve only read it once while I’ve read all the earlier ones an obscene amount of times.
Lover Avenged and Lover Mine will bring you right back into the fold. They are amazing. Then, you get to Payne’s book. I hated it. Mainly because I felt she didn’t stay true to characters and I just couldn’t stand Manny. Plus, I was hoping Payne would be this crazy kick ass heroine and was completely let down.
Sigh, then Tohr’s book. It gutted me. For me, it is the best of the series.
