And the Psy/Changeling #12 Cover and Title…

The wait is finally over! Nalini Singh has been teasing us with no cover or title to her June 4th release in her Psy/Changeling book. But she revealed all on her blog today.

IS THIS KALEB’S BOOK? I need a blurb!!!!

Edited to add what Nalini just tweeted:

Is there a clue in the cover? Why yes. A rather large one. That is all. ;-)

Great cover, but it would be nice to know who it’s about!

Ok, I said it on Tori’s post on H&H already, but I think it’s definitely Ghost book, because that evil tease said:
Througout the incredible 11-book run there has been one question that has tantalized Nalini’s legion of fans.
And I think that Ghost’s identity is the biggest question in this series. Since Nalini said there is a big clue on the cover, I did a little research and found this:
Obsidian was valued in Stone Age cultures because, like flint, it could be fractured to produce sharp blades or arrowheads.
    Can that be a clue???
This Kaleb/Vasic is like too much caffeine for me, I look like obsessed person when I talk about this…..

Look at the electrical lines and cable car tracks. It looks like a scene from their past!! It looks like Alice’s time from the 1970s. Could this be another clue?

*Flailing ard* It’s all to much for me. I have gone over the cover with a fine tooth comb. Expanded, graphed it, played with the exposures, ect…I even thought for a moment the building windows spelled out something. lolol

So it’s San Francisco, right? But with all the smoke it looks like it’s burning? And, now Julie’s got me thinking about the likelihood that the image is from the past. Tori, I’m joining you in the flailing.

    I think I have it:
Obsidian is also known as traveler’s stone. And Vasic is called a Traveler…

I WANT it to be Kaleb’s book, just because I care more about getting Kaleb’s book than I do about the identity of Ghost. The only other person I can think of it being besides Kaleb is Vasic, and that’s because of the trenchcoat. Judd was an Arrow and his cover has him in a trenchcoat, and Ghost on this cover is in a trenchcoat. I feel like Vasic is the less obvious choice than Kaleb, but also, if it’s not Kaleb who is the Ghost, it will sort of be, not believable. Yes, he’s obvious, but he’s the most likely and capable. OR SO I THINK. :D

ALSO, this last book ended with Kaleb finding a woman he had been looking for for a long time, right???? I mean that’s an HEA setup right there for this next book.

I wanted to be Kaleb, too! I even found out that name Kaleb which has hebrew origins means All Heart or Whole Heart. But it’s the slimmest theory, dammit.;)
I think that trenchcoat is not a clue. Trenchcoat is like every day clothes for bad-ass characters, standard uniform for every hot fiction male specimen out there!;)
I was sure Kaleb’s book is next because of ending in TON. But, when Nalini got all secretive, and after that evil tease… I think she will surprise us big time.
