9. This week I read both Blade Song and Night Blade by JC Daniels. May and Tori have been telling me to start this series for a long time and I finally listened to them. Zomg. These books are so, so good. Kit is a half breed assassin – kick ass heroine – smart, stubborn, feisty. She gets paired with a VERY alpha cat shifter. He growls and purrs. It’s a really done urban fantasy series with a strong romance. I highly recommend. Goodreads l Kindle

6. Luckily for us, the Mayans were wrong and the world didn’t end this past December. Unfortunately for us, Ryan Lochte is getting his own show, which means the world is truly ending.
What Would Ryan Lochte Do? No really, that is the name of his show. Because you know – he is so articulate when he gives….advice. If you want to lose some brain cells, watch the teaser below. JEAH! (ugh)
The first time I saw him at the Olympics….I thought he was kind of hot. It’s difficult to look back on those dark days.
5. Touch & Geaux aka Ty and Zane #7 comes out April 8th. BUT – if you pre-order directly from Riptide, you get to have it April 6th. Oh yessssssss. You all know this but I’ll say it again. One of my absolute favorite series.
Also this week, Abigail Roux posted a scene with Ty and Zane where they get turned on by…bread. It’s cute and hot.
4. Jon Hamm’s peen has struck again. The Hammaconda has let loose, and is causing major drama on the set of Mad Men. Now let’s go down memory lane for a minute. Back in September we saw allllllll of Mr. Hamm…and we learned he really hates to wear underwear.
Now reports are coming out that:
“This season takes place in the 1960s, where the pants are very tight and leave little to the imagination,” a source tells us. “Jon’s impressive anatomy is so distracting that they politely insisted on underwear.”
Our insider says that during seasons one and two, AMC’s marketing team even had to do some Photoshop magic on promotional booklets that went out to press in order to make his privates more, well, private.

2. I’m totally making these for Easter. Black olive eyes and carrot beak. For some reason half the food I’m making for Easter is animal shaped..well at least in the recipe. We’ll see how I do making the food look like the pictures in the recipe. Either way – I will be eating a lot! (Thanks Amy!)

Love the chick-shaped deviled eggs! As for the whole Lochte thing, I keep in mind the wise words of SASSY magazine many years ago, saying it’s okay to allow yourself a testosterone Twinkie every now and then. He’s like a cartoon character in a Speedo (and I mean that in the most loving way), so I will reserve judgment until I see the show (which I admit I am worried about). Frankly, I’m just anticipating potential visits to E’s THE SOUP, since you know he’ll have to hype the show SOMEWHERE and it’s on the same network. My beloved Joel McHale feels the same way about the show as you do, but I fantasize that Ryan will come on and be funny, and thus win him over. (Yes, I’m slashing them in my head already–you have your hobbies, I have mine.)
In the midst of DIVIDE & CONQUER right now…I do like Ty and Zane a lot, but I have to admit they’re not my favorite m/m couple just yet. Which installment is your favorite?

Hahaha! I really should watch Mad Men, that picture of Jon Hamm in September was priceless. I didn’t know Larissa Ione was coming out with a new series, I thought she was going back to her Demonica one which I think I devoured in a week. I also loved Rouge Rider—the last Lord of Deliverance books. Sad, that we won’t be seeing our UGH boys in this one. But her world-building is fantastic and I can’t wait to see what she does with this one.
