9. Last week I went to the Romantic Times convention. I had a blast. I met a ton of authors and readers and I’m definitely going next year. One thing I learned about myself is that I suck at remembering to take pictures. Sigh. But I did take the one of Shayla Black, Lora Leigh and Sylvia Day. They had a really fun panel. If you are a reader thinking about going to this conference, I definitely recommend it. The panels were good, you have a chance to get a lot of books and the atmosphere was just really fun and nice. Everyone was super nice and welcoming.

While at the Ellora Cave party, I picked up two 2014 Cavemen Calendars.

Sexy, yes? I will give them both away – so if interested, just let me know in the comments and I’ll pick two random people tomorrow.

8. Earlier this week I watched the above book trailer for Sarah Anderson’s new Bolton Brothers series. I thought it was so cute (and usually book trailers do nothing for me) that I bought and read book one, Straddling the Line. I enjoyed it. Ben is the CFO for a custom motorcycle shop he works in with his brothers and Josey is trying to get funding for a school she is building on her Lakota reservation. I found them to be fun and sexy together. Will definitely be reading book two.

7. Quick Sylvia Day news – Her Crossfire series is now set to be a FIVE book series. Can we handle three more books of Gideon angst??? Can my poor heart take it?

Also while browsing her site I saw she has a new contemporary out this August called Afterburn. Ooooooh. I’m intrigued.

6. Brenda Novak’s auction for Diabetes Research is up and going strong. There are soooooo many awesome things to bid on. Arcs, baskets of gifts, cool things from authors. One month of advertising space at Smexy in 2014! Brenda does an amazing job with this every year.

5. You guys. Prince Harry is in the USA! Put on your party dress and let’s go stalk! Buzzfeed has the official guide to stalk him in the next few days. See how happy he is? He can’t wait for us to show up. Maybe he will make a stop in Vegas again and get all nakey for us. *memories* He is always so good to us.

4. Let’s talk about nipples for a minute. Boy nips. How well do you really know your favorite celebrities? Can you recognize them based on their nippies alone? It’s harder than you think! Go HERE for the nipple quiz.  I got 6/15 right. I have failed the nipple test. A sad day indeed. (thx Selena!)

3. This might be my FAVORITE thing on the internet right now. Ryan McHenry used that Vine app (where you can post a 6 second video) and he made 8 videos called – Ryan Gosling won’t eat his cereal. He took 8 clips of Gosling in various movies, and put a spoon of cereal up to his mouth. I know..you all are like – HUH?  Just watch and you will see. The site loads slow..but worth it. And make sure you watch it full screen. LINK. Or another LINK.
