Why Peter Pan statue?
The statue of Peter Pan is a significant landmark in Bite Me, Book 1 of the London Undead series. I used this landmark for a couple of reasons:
· It was one of my favorite places the last time I visited Kensington Gardens. The little glade had a peaceful atmosphere to it and a sense of safety. I might have shattered the peace in Bite Me, but in the course of the scene, the characters did ultimately find a greater safety than they’d ever had previously.
· I wondered whether such child-like whimsy had a place in a zombie apocalypse.
· My editor spent some significant time living in London, always wanted to see the statue, and never did find it. I figured I could at least include it in the book, complete with the zombies she’d been hoping to see in a submission someday.
If you ever find yourself in Kensington Gardens, wandering along the west bank of the Long Water, stop by to take a look at the statue. Bonus if you take a pic and send it to me. I will *squee* and possibly do random nifty stuff in thanks.
Blurb:
Few people walk the streets of London since the zombie outbreak, but that’s not an issue for Seth. As a werewolf, he can handle himself and save humans reckless enough to take a nighttime stroll. While on patrol he comes across a group of people under attack. The one woman brave enough to take a stand against the zombies catches his eye—and not just because of her way with a gun. Learning the beautiful woman is homeless and fends for herself despite her disability only intensifies his urge to protect and care for her.
Maisie can’t help but admit that she’s attracted to her werewolf rescuer. She’s drawn to Seth’s strength and ferocity, and finds herself opening up to him in ways she never imagined, even though she’s determined to not to rely on Seth or anyone else. She doesn’t want another person to get hurt—or die—for her sake. She has enough scars, physical and emotional, from the last time…
But when Seth realizes something is drawing the zombies to Maisie, there may be nothing he can do to save her….

I would want to be with the werewolves in the story, since they are immune to the Zombie virus.

during a zombie apocalypse I would want to be with Sam and Dean Winchester from the TV show Supernatural….They have lots of experience with monsters and they are hot. Oh and they have lots of guns and stuff. LOL.
