Favorite Quote: “Fucking. It doesn’t start when you get naked, not the way I do it.

With three books out in this ‘Beyond’ series, I’m confident enough to say this is my favorite and most anticipated erotic series. Kit Rocha (the writing team of Moira Rogers) writes a very well done sexually charged world. The characters that have made it to Dallas O’Kane’s sector four home are tough, witty, sexy and most of all – free. They are free to love and live how they wish, something that is hard for those to fathom who live in other, strict and abusive sectors. Six, our heroine is one of those. Six thinks of men as hurtful objects. Forced to dance and have sex repeatedly, she is broken. Yes, the O’Kane gang love to have sex – but it is only because they want to have sex. No one is forced, no one walks away feeling bad. She is safe now inside Sector four, but that doesn’t mean she has accepted this safety yet. As she thinks, “A few dozen city blocks separated this compound from Sector Three, but she might as well be on the moon.” Women are treated with respect in Sector Four, and Six starts to learn that with respect, women have power.

Bren used to be Military Police, until he was forced to set-up someone, and then took the fall for it. He was banished from his city and taken in by an older man who became his mentor. Bren found his way to Sector Four and Dallas O’Kane, but he still harbors anger towards the man who wronged him. He works hard for his brothers, and doesn’t show a lot of emotion. Ever since Six came to his sector, he has had his eye on her. He has been patient, instinctively knowing he must go very slow with how skittish she is. When Dallas asks Bren to start scoping out Sector Three, their newly owned sector, he suggests Bren take Six with him, since she knows the streets so well. These two are on the verge of exploding with chemistry, if only Six can find the courage to open herself up to a man.

I’ve said this in previous reviews but I’m going to say it again. Kit Rocha writes some of the sexiest men and women that I’ve read. The men are all huge, tattooed, sexy beasts that are charming, dirty, and awesome fighters, And the women are just as tough. The men are dominant but the women in this Sector hold the power, and I love that. Although Six starts off quite skittish, she is a fighter, literally. Bren loves to spar with her and she can take a man down. Her relationship with Bren plays out very nicely in this one. He is so patient with her, yet knows just when to push her to take a chance.

As with the first two books in this series, this isn’t all about Bren and Six. It’s about the O’Kane group. We get a scene with Dallas, Lex and Rachel (simultaneously with Bren and Six) that is one of the hottest scenes I’ve read in a really long time. One of my favorite things about this series is that each book has a new hero and heroine with a HEA, but there is so much more we are given with the other characters too.

We also get teased quite a bit with the Rachel/Ace/Cruz relationship (their book is next) and I’m slightly dying to read it.

I strongly recommend you read these in order – one because it’s a continuing story and more importantly, because they are all so damn good. Okay, most importantly because they are so damn dirty *wink*

I loved this one the mostest. (Not a word, but STILL). *sigh* I loved Bren. Just loved him :) He was so patient with Six and watching him help her find her feet was the best part of the book for me. Plus those tantalizing hints with Ace, Cruz, and Rachel.. EEEEE!! Marvelous series, this is my favorite erotic series as well :)
