I thought the blurb for this book was so cute, This is the beginning:
Monday mornings have a reputation for sucking, and today is no different for Burton Anderson. One year ago, his “perfect” life full of prestige, money, success and travel crumbled in the glaring light of betrayal.
This morning? This close to making his new construction business a success, a date gone awry has left him handcuffed to a toilet in a housewares store. Naked. And the first customer of the day is coming down his aisle.
I couldn’t wait to giggle over Burton being caught naked in an almost open Hearth and Home store. Burton is a contractor and he has been working on the store. When there was a leak in the bathroom during one of his dates, he rushed over bringing his date along. After fixing the leak, his date and him got a little freaky in the store late at night, but it ended with her handcuffing him to the toilet and stealing all his clothes. When Leigh walks in to talk with the owner (she is a wedding planner) she discovers the naked Burton.
But nothing happens when she discovers him. She has no reaction. There was not one funny thing about this scene and that was such a bummer.
Throughout the entire book the dialogue is very wooden and rigid. There is no emotions at all. The sex scenes fell flat, the romance fell flat and there was nothing in here to keep me engaged. There is really nothing else to say.

Mandi, I started reading this review thinking- oh this might be a funny. Sounds like the potential is there for a really funny meet-cute. But then it wasn’t. Thanks for saving me some trouble. Lol
