Allie runs a popular business in town called Personal Assets. A place where women gather to learn not only sex advice from Allie, but a plan to grow sexually, become more confident and take chances in their love life. Allie loves her job and was able to open it by getting a big loan from her father. But he is evil and will cause her much grief in this book! Back to him in a moment.

Allie encourages her clients to take a chance with something new in their love lives, but then realizes she doesn’t even have a sex life of her own. So she gets the guts to go to her former high school crush, Cameron who recently moved back to town and opened his own car body detail shop. Cameron is all sexy and moody and a bit grumpy. A fine combination in my book. His father left when he was young and Cameron worked hard to help his mom and brother succeed. When Allie saunters in and proposes he start to sleep with her with no strings attached, he isn’t sure if he should jump for joy or run far away. (let me give you a hint – he doesn’t run away…his erection keeps him standing in one spot).

When Allie’s father gets upset that she is running a “sex shop” and it may discourage other businesses from opening in town, he calls in her loan and gives her two weeks to pay back $75,000 (I told you he was evil!). So now Allie must figure out how to get money, and the sex is so good with Cameron that (spoiler alert!)  feelings start to develop.

After the first 10-15% of this one I wasn’t’ sure I would like this one. It just felt a little off for me, but the next thing I knew, I looked up and I was more than halfway through. Cameron and Allie end up with really nice chemistry together. All Allie wants is sex to liven up her life so she isn’t a hypocrite when she gives clients advice, but what she discovers is Cameron is not only amazing in bed, but he is a pretty good guy. They are both hard workers and at similar points in their lives. Cameron is pretty protective of Allie from the beginning and wants to solve all her problems for her. But Allie is stubborn and can fend for herself, which I liked about her. I thought the issues with her dad could have been resolved more but otherwise this one played out well for me. We get nice supporting characters and even a little side romance with Cameron’s mom.

What I thought was done really well are the sex scene sin this book. They are dirty! And hot and well..you’ll just have to discover them for yourself. *wink*

Fun book. I believe this is a debut author. Looking forward to more.
