This author managed to really bring everything I love about holiday romances in general into one beautiful story full of fantastic characters, steamy chemistry, and Christmas spirit. From sleigh rides to puppies, quiet time in a snowy forest to learning to ski and the scent of gingerbread- I loved every page.
Sleigh Bells in the Snow by Sarah Morgan.
Once upon a time, Christmas was Kayla Green’s favorite time of year. Now all the workaholic wants for Christmas is for it to be over—as fast as possible! So when duty calls her to snowy Vermont to close a deal with a new client, Kayla is grateful for an excuse to avoid the holidays for another year.
Jackson O’Neil left a thriving business behind to return home and salvage his family’s resort—it’s in his blood, and he can’t let it fail. Now that he’s got marketing whiz Kayla Green working with him to put Snow Crystal on the map, success is on the horizon. The fact they strike enough sparks off each other to power all the Christmas lights in Vermont is just an added bonus.
Kayla might be an expert at her job, but she’s out of her depth with Jackson—he makes her crave the happy-ever-after she once dreamed of, and it’s terrifying. As the snowflakes continue to swirl, will the woman who doesn’t believe in the magic of Christmas finally fall under its spell?
Today, I have two gift packages to giveaway! Each package includes: A print copy of Sleigh Bells in the Snow, Snow Flake Earrings and some Harlequin Holiday Gift Tags.
To enter, leave a comment and tell us your favorite part of the holidays. Is it the food? The presents? Friends and Family? The kiss under the mistletoe?? *wink*
Contest is open to US, Canada and the UK.
I’ll pick winners on Sunday, November 3.

On Christmas Eve, we spend the day/evening with family that travels from other parts of the country. It’s a lot of fun :) It’s a neighborhood that’s famous for decorating the houses w/ lights, gadgets, blow up things.. WHATEVER you can possibly think of. We walk around, drink, play music or stupid games, open gifts etc.

Spending time with family and friends, particularly those with whom I don’t have much opportunity to visit during the rest of the year. Of course we keep in touch via phone and Internet, but there’s nothing like being enveloped in grandma’s hug or scooping up one of my little nieces. All the other trimmings (tree, food, music, presents, and so forth) help make each moment even more special.
Christine L. says
P.S.: Current PST is 8:50 p.m. which technically is Sunday in my neck of the woods. :-D
