10. I DO use lip balm several times a day. All I’m sayin.

In lip balm news: I am obsessed with EOS lip balm. I bought it because I have a girl crush on the actress that is in this commercial. Plus it’s a funky big shape. I have the summer fruit flavor but I want them alllll (bought mine at walmart)

9. Last week I mentioned I was going to read The Do-Over by M.K. Schiller and I did! And I really enjoyed! Kyle is a total jerky man-slut (sounds awesome, yes? Stick with me!) Lanie is a frumpy lawyer – and they fall for each other. Well – not at first. At first Lanie wants Kyle to help her learn how to flirt and stuff. And while Kyle is at first put off by Lanie’s shoulder pads and frizzy hair, Lanie is basically like – I don’t really care what you think of me. Just give me a few lessons. But as he gets to know her, he really starts to care for her and he becomes a super good guy. Definitely recommend this one. Goodreads l Kindle

5. Speaking of SEXY beasts that I want to tweet dirty things, and show up on my phone, and show up in my bed is Dylan McDermott. He just gets better and better with age. I wonder what happens to his lower body when he wears a bow tie and smiles??? TELL US DYLAN.

4. This one little sign on Facebook last night made me giddy! Bring it! (I also have only read the first two books so I massively fail there) The trailer for season four will debut this Sunday at 8:58pm on hbo.

3. Wouldn’t this be a cute cake to make for Valentine’s Day? Yes it’s a bit labor intensive – you have to bake the heart part first then put it into more batter. But I’m going to try it! I’ll report back.  Recipe. (also cute blog!)

2. Alexander Skarsgard made a big trek to the South Pole recently (Prince Harry did as well and other less notable people). Anyway! When he got there, this picture surfaced on Instagram. Yes that is him starkers on the toilet. This in itself is an epic photo. Then Buzzfeed went and photoshopped this picture into other amusing pictures and it gave me a big chuckle.

I feel like this is the only time on a Top Ten list that I’ll have a picture of a hot dude sitting on the toilet only wearing boots. So I think we all need to take a moment.

1. This weekend we are hosting my son’s birthday party – we have invited a dinosaur expert to come give a presentation and then numerous 10 year olds will be digging for fossils all in my living room. Send wine. Send sanity. Send a cleaning crew. Send ASkars sitting on a toilet.

And then of course – football.

If I do get a chance to read I’m going to try Knock Out by Michele Mannon.
