9. Speaking of wine, if you ever find yourself without a cork screw, here is how you can open a bottle with a steak knife. I would 100% cut off a finger or stab myself – or both. BUT – if it’s the difference between not drinking wine and drinking….it very well would be worth it. Here are a few other ways too, including using your car keys.
8. I adore this interview Julie James did with an active Chicago FBI agent as part of her research for It Happened One Wedding, out Tuesday. He gives great answers and has a nice sense of humor. I also adored this book! Definitely add it to your pile on Tuesday!
7. Those going to RT, make sure you grab the app they’ve released. I’ve messed around with it this week and it’s really nice to keep track of your schedule, big events and pretty much everything else you could want. I leave for RT in 11 days. I’m not ready!!! Who is going?

3. So first of all – we live in a world where chicken pot pie in a cone exists. This makes me happy. But this also led me to a blog called “Dude Food” which has greatly entertained me this week. In the mood for Deep Fried Peeps Stuffed Eggs? Gotcha covered. A Mac & Cheese Stuffed Bacon Taco? The ‘dudes’ on this blog may die in the next year or so from a heart attack, but damn it they make me hungry.
2. HBO has started selling Game of Thrones costumes at their online store. So my husband could start dressing like Jon Snow above... (that’s quite a big bow you got there Jon Snow) Or Eddard Stark… Those were the only two as I scrolled down. I didn’t see any Khal and Khaleesi matching outfits! Sadness.
1. Soooooo happy it’s Friday. Going to do a little birthday celebrating for my mom which should be a fun time. I’m also going to read Indecent…Exposure by Jane O’Reilly – if it’s as smexy as I hear, I’ll use a scene for Smex Scene Sunday this weekend. Have a great Friday everyone!!
