I love to read anything that makes me smile, swoon or develop an overwhelming urge to jump my hubby (he likes that little side benefit, too).
Our favorite beach is Clearwater in Florida.
I love reading historical romances and books by Debbie Macomber on the beach or by the pool.
My favorite beach is Jones Beach on Long Island. Endless endless sand.
My favorite beach read is a teen romance.
Favorite reads so far this summer have been It Happened One Wedding by Julie James and Mud Vein by Tarryn Fisher.
I’d love to be on any sunny beach under an umbrella, perhaps on a less populated day at South Haven, MI, or the Florida Keys… with the waves gently lapping at the sand. A Kristan Higgans, fun & sweet read, or (the opposite direction) a J.R. Ward BDB book in hand. ♥♥♥
I love a story that I can sink into for the beach – usually involving cowboys and on the dirty side ;)
I’m an oddball, but my favorite beach read is LaVyrle Spencer’s That Camden Summer.
My favorite summertime reads are contemporary and NA romances.
I love to read dark and gritty UF, because the sunshine helps me not get too depressed when I’m reading.
Favorite beach read is Julie Garwood’s latest and books by Jill Shalvis and Lori Foster
I was born in Panama, where we are blessed with great beaches both in the Pacific and the Caribbean.
I like reading contemporary romances when we’re on vacation, especially those by Julie James, Kristan Higgins and Rosalind James.
I like relatively light and fun on vacation, so I’m saving the latest Julie James for my next trip!
I like to read books set during winter when I read in the summertime. I’m weird like that ;)
I have to share my most memorable beach read…Several years ago, I took Kate Douglas’ Wolf Tales to the beach. This was a new to me author, given by a friend who’d won the book. I was not new to erotica, but there was something about this book and reading it at the beach…>.< I remember my eyes bugging out and my face getting red. At one point, I actually closed the book and looked around to make sure no one was looking, then, of course opened the book to keep reading. DH eventually came up and reminded me to put some sunscreen in my face. bwahahhhaaa! To this day, Wolf Tales has held the title of naughtiest beach read EVAH! LOL
I don’t go to the beach any longer, but loved to take my kids to Jones Beach on Long Island.
Favorite summer read – anything by Deb Macomber, Susan Mallery or Robyn Carr.
I like to reread a couple of favorites during the summer like Lisa Marie Rice’s Dangerous series.
My favorite beach is at Half Moon Bay in northern California. Not a traditional “toes in the water, bum in the sand” beach, but I have lots of wonderful memories of time spent there.
there are a number of my favorite authors who have books out in the summer. i save them up and devour them all at once while i’m away at the beach!
That Scandalous Summer by Meredith Duran is a good one.
Favorite beach is Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos. The sand is like sugar!!
I love Myrtle Beach. Thanks for the giveaway.
I want to catch up on Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series – that always makes me laugh!
Lately my favorite beach read are Alpha male stories.. they make me swoon!
My favorite summer reads are anything romance, the steamier the better! :)
Best beach reads are old favorites (Jayne Ann Krentz, Nora Roberts), and whatever new contemporary romances are coming out at the time.
Anything by Abbi Glines or Kristen Ashley!
Thanks for the giveaway
My fave beach read is a great adventure story.
anything by Jill Shalvis :) Thanks for sharing!
I really enjoy Mary Stewart’s This Rough Magic–the setting and the story is a comfort read and I want that in my holiday reading!
Something humorous and sexy-like Jill Shalvis! Or, it’s the perfect time to re-read some favourites.
Anything light and breezy so I can enjoy the beach as much as the book!
My favorite summertime read is Summer Is For Lovers from the Jennifer McQuiston! Thanks for the chance to win! :-)
Fashion magazines are my pick for the beach!
I love reading the Summer Trilogy (Summer Days, Summer Nights and All Summer Long) from Susan Mallery’s Fool’s Gold series at the beach with a cold drink and some snacks!
I’ll read any romance book at the beach! Thanks for the giveaway.
My favorite beach is Jekyll Island and I am lucky enough to live close by. For beach reading I like something like Jill Shalvis’ Lucky Harbor series.
I think my favorite beach/summer reads is Nora Roberts’ Chesapeake Bay series. I do a re-read each year :)
Erotica reads and Historical Romances.
Maybe not my favorite, but my most memorable was my first beach read–The Wolf and the Dove by Kathleen Woodiwiss.
I’ve never been to a beach and I don’t have a pool nor do I go on vacations, but my favorite books to read in the summer are the same books I’ve read countless times! …Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series (or any of hers really) or KMM’s Fever series (never a bad time for some Jericho Barrons) are always great choices for any season and I find myself picking them up on hot summer days! Although those books aren’t exactly a great choice for when you need to cool down LOL
I love to read Kristen Ashley in the summer. I’m reading the Rock Chick series right now and loving it.
Corey Beach right near home. And I love to read rom. suspense of any kind.
Lori Foster, Abbi Glines, Cynthia Eden.
Great beach reads!
Haven’t read these authors
don’t have a fav
Mary Kay Andrews usually has a new book out every summer. This year, I’m saving Save the Date for my beachy read!
I love contemporary romance – and ones especially by Robyn Carr, Debbie Macomber, Toni Blake, Julie James, Susan Wigg, Sherryl Woods to name a few.
