Raven is a rockstar werewolf sex maniac. Ok, maybe not maniac but he goes to bed with as many girls as he can – whomever strikes his fancy on any particular night. Little does he know that his next conquest will be a woman who wishes him nothing but the worst…
Darcy has a plan, and Raven makes it all too easy to see it through. Why, she’s even having a blast too and getting plenty of orgasms and world rocking sex as a bonus. Little does she know the heartbreaking rock star is a werewolf – and that cursing him might be the worst mistake she ever makes…
This is an incredibly short story and that makes me irritated for three reasons:
1. There was a full length novel story here
2. The heroine was kind of a villain – dealing vengeance as she does – and I wanted more from her
3. I really liked this writer’s style.
There is so much revealed towards the end of this story, I was super annoyed when I turned the page and instead of this journey continuing into some great PNR territory things simply ended. The world shown here, the characters, even the unusual choice to have a messed up woman who runs around blindly handing out vengeance to men by sleeping with them then cursing them – it was all intriguing and well done.
I like that the heroine never stopped to consider that what she was doing was bad, and that she didn’t ever bother to get the full story. Oh don’t get me wrong that is incredibly stupid – but I could see how someone could get into that and be blinded to the fact that they had become the villain.
I can’t quite recommend you run out and read it, nor can I issue an A simply because it felt like a teaser or a first part of a novel and not a complete story. I wanted so much more, and I think if built up and developed this could be an incredible story. As it stands, it was an interesting and steamy short story.

I really want to read this book. I didn’t realize it was so short. It doesn’t look like book two is going to be any longer (according to Goodreads). :-(
Great review.

Hi ladies! Just wanted to let you know, books one and two are about the same length. Book 3 Wolves’ Bane is full length. The world is rolling out as the wolves discover it. Wolves’ Bane is from the Hunter side of things where you’ll get a full dose of Hunter lore and mythology. ;-)
Thanks for the great review!
