Breath racing past her lips, pulse hammering, she did as he commanded. The first touch of his fingers between her legs almost wrenched a scream from her throat. Until that moment, she hadn’t been aware of exactly how close she was to the edge. How far the explicitness of the situation in itself had pushed her. With an iron will, she forced herself to remain still.
He tapped a single finger over her clit. “When is the last time you were properly fucked, Caroline?”
She couldn’t hold back a moan, her knees starting to tremble. “W-what? I—”
“Never. The answer is never, because I’ve never fucked you.”
That one thick finger traced along her opening, then eased inside her in a slow, slick push. When he spoke, his voice had deepened to an unrecognizable degree. “Maybe it’s better that I don’t fuck you. “Yes. Yes.”

Release within her reach, she squeezed her eyes shut and cried out. “I love it.”

Let me note – I didn’t love this book as I’ve loved previous Tessa Bailey books. The dirty talking and sex is hot, as you would expect. The BDSM aspect wasn’t my favorite – it felt a little, been there, done that. I’m a little over the BDSM club scene But this book is still dirty and deserving of a Smex Scene Sunday.

I love Tessa Bailey, too. And this scene is very hot. I go through my phases with the BDSM as well but agree that can get same old, same old unless the story and characters are truly engaging.

If you read Sinclair’s series start with the first one. It’s pretty tame but sets the scene. Master Z is quite hot. I like that subsequent books involve suspense.

I’m a huge TB fan but this one was a bit of a let down tbh.
Before I even started reading this I thought “I am so over BDSM books.” LOL. This excerpt didn’t change my mind at all… and I have all of Tessa Bailey’s books. I will still read Cherise Sinclair’s books since I’m invested in the characters. Same for Lexie Blake’s Masters & Mercenaries series but even there the BDSM aspect is becoming more and more of a turn-off for me.
I expect I’ll get tired of Biker books eventually haha but right now I can’t wait for Reaper’s Stand coming out tomorrow!
