9. The new Fifty Shades of Grey trailer released last night. I’m a little more excited about the first one – it was more fun because of all the make-out scenes. I’m more excited to just have a girls night out and have some drinks and be giggly throughout the movie. Speaking of Fifty Shades of Grey….
8. As Smexy is an #OfficialFifty blog, I get fun presents and other stuff (not sure what the other stuff is) leading up to the premiere of the movie. The first present I got this week? Two glasses and a Fifty blanket. This blanket is SUPER soft and fuzzy. Oh! There is also a Fifty Shades notebook in the box too.
I’m going to give them away to a random commenter (please note in your comment that you are entering) Since the box is kind of big and heavy, I’m limiting shipping to US only. I’ll pick a winner Sunday.
7. You guys – there is a parrot that sounds exactly like Matthew McCounaghey. It’s so funny. Alright, alright, alright.
6. In the hot news department, my friend Angie shared some pictures on twitter that made my little smexy heart go fast. First, JJ Watt, NFL football player is lookin’ FINE in this new pic of him. (you can see more here). And to top that off, a bearded Moobs! (aka Jason Momoa). I think this is a picture from this summer, but who cares. You strut your stuff Moobs.
5. And to top off Smexy Man Friday, Charlie Hunnam looking just right next to this motorcycle. JUST RIGHT. See more here.
4. Enough with the men already! Let’s talk about what’s really important – food and booze. This looks super amazing and super easy. Take that pre-made cookie dough from a tub, roll it out – slather it with ice cream, make a sandwich and freeze. Cookie dough ice cream sandwiches. I WANT. My favorite thing in the world are those Chip Wich – the chocolate chip cookie with the ice cream in the middle that you get off of ice cream trucks. I’ll push the kids aside at the beach for one of those. This might even trump it though because it’s cookie dough. And we all know cookie dough > cooked cookies.
3. Need something to wash down that frosty treat? White Christmas Sangria. I love me some holiday Sangria. I have a Honey Crisp Apple Sangria in my refrigerator for tomorrow. I’m excited.
2. And, if you need help getting that wine bottle open, this dude has a very cool idea. Take off your shoe, put the wine bottle in (cork side facing out) and hit the shoe against the wall. That cork will start to make its way out. I told my husband this and he said, yeah – duh. Go away husband. I might have to try this…
1. This weekend I hope to read The Masseuse by Sierra Kincaide. I hope it’s extra dirty! We are hosting our annual Epic Turkey Dinner on Saturday. It’s a thanksgiving dinner we do just with our friends, since we all seem to be so busy closer to Thanksgiving. It’s “Epic” because every dish must contain bacon. Bacon stuffed turkey, bacon sweet potatoes, bacon brussel sprouts, bacon mac and cheese, bacon chocolate chip cookies, a turkey shaped cheese ball with bacon tail feathers….do you get my drift? We even have bacon vodka. WE HAVE ALL THE BACON!! It’s fun. :)

Just hit me who the 50 shades girl reminds me of….Mandy Moore’s character from A Walk to Remember. I think she was a preacher’s daughter. Same wardrobe :)

I asked hubs last night if JJ Watt was a football guy: “Why, are you looking at pictures of him online?”…….busted!!!
Love the 50 Shades goodies (I’m a fan, haters to the side). That blanket looks soooo soft, and I’m entering so that I can torture hubs and make him drink out of the glasses on card nights ;)

Thanks for the link to ESPN’s article about J.J. Watt. I’m a bit ashamed and embarrassed to admit that I hadn’t seen it, and I’m a big fan. If one follows the Texans at all, the evidence of his leadership and work ethic are obvious. He’s such a fine role model. And he ain’t bad to look at, either.

I have mixed feelings about the Fifty movie. I know for a fact I’m sick of her lipstick in every clip. It’s the same color every single time…pffft Go to Walgreens and pick up a new shade woman!
