4. Did you know there was a Star Wars Holiday Special? I didn’t either and still wish I didn’t. Oy. This was released by CBS in 1978 and was so poorly received, it was never shown again and executives were forced to sign a disclosure vowing NEVER to mention it or they would suffer a fate worse then death. Okay, I admit I made that last part up, but after watching this, I’m convinced something similar played out.

I am pretty sure I watched that Star Wars Christmas special when it was originally broadcast (I guess I am a lot older than you), but I don’t really remember it. I was a teenager then and I loved both Star Wars and Christmas so it would have been a no-brainer. We didn’t have a VCR then, so I couldn’t tape it like I eventually did with my Christmas favorites. My father couldn’t understand why you would want to watch something more than once!
Hmmm, in 1978 I was 8 and in love with Star Wars myself but I don’t remember seeing it.
My dad was the same way. Once you watch or read it, it’s done and you move on. lolol
I will never look at starlight mints the same way ever again. I just ate one. The taste is rapidly becoming foul in my mouth and memory.
