10. Let me just point out – I was gone from Tuesday morning to Sunday morning for RT. When I arrived home, I had a broken oven and two toilets that wouldn’t flush. The children and the pets were still alive. But my god – what took place inside my house for five days? I had to get a new oven delivered yesterday!!
9. Captain America looks TINY in this pic! Seriously, how big is Shaq?? Goodness.
8. Someone came out with a map of the most popular book in each state. Click here to see it bigger. I don’t see romance represented on this map – except for Montana. Go Montana!! I demand a romance map next time. (link)
7. Alisha Rai has a new book coming out! I love this author’s voice. Here is a list of reviews we’ve done of her work. Her most recent, A Gentleman in the Street is a really well done book.
6. Who has seen Mad Max? I’m hearing really good things! Plus I love this meme. Plus I have dirty thoughts about Tom Hardy. And I have dirty thoughts about Charlize Theron. #JustSayin
4. I’ve mentioned in the Top Ten before about the stud Neville Longbottom has become. I mean – DAMN boy. If you want an even better look at Mr. Longbottom, click here – warning – tightey whitey picture. Mr. Long-Dong-Bottom if you know what I’m sayin.
3. If you have time today, there is a thread on Reddit that is a lot of fun to read. Someone posed the question, What’s the Most Beautiful Sentence or Paragraph You’ve Ever Read? Some of the responses are really beautiful. There are a lot of love and romance quotes.
“Maybe…you’ll fall in love with me all over again.”
“Hell,” I said, “I love you enough now. What do you want to do? Ruin me?”
“Yes. I want to ruin you.”
“Good,” I said. “That’s what I want too.”
Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell to Arms
“What day is it?”
“It’s today”, squeaked Piglet.
“My favorite day”, said Pooh.
Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind. “Pooh?” he whispered.
“Yes, Piglet?”
“Nothing,” said Piglet, taking Pooh’s hand.
“I just wanted to be sure of you.”
A.A. Milne
Damn it Piglet and Pooh. Just damn it.

1. Three day weekend! Woot! We have a BBQ to go to and the kids want to go to the movies. I think we can handle it. This weekend I’m reading The Orphan Pearl by Erin Satie. I really enjoyed her previous book.

Of course its a Nicolas Sparks novel for my state, North Carolina, it always is.
If I can just forget who Matthew Lewis portrayed I can happily stare at some handsome eye candy. However my brain keeps reminding me he was Neville. I really should not have these feelings for Neville Longbottom.

I’ve watched Mad Max just two days ago and it was great. Tom Hardy is not Mel Gibson, but he delivered. If you like the crazy world of Mad Max before, you’ll love the movie. Charlize Theron was absolutley amazing.

I just saw Mad Max today. It was incredibly awesome for so many reasons. Not the least of which was a score that seemed biologically designed to drag people’s heart rates around. Tom Hardy delivered, he didn’t talk much, but that was an enormous help for not creating negative comparisons to young Mel Gibson. And Charlize Theron was powerful, not just kickass, if you see what I mean.
