4. The bastards at Fox have canceled my beloved Mindy Project. I hear HULU might pick it up for another season, but damn it. Parks and Rec ended and I was clinging to Mindy for my sitcom fix. *STOMPS FEET*
The one scene I remember making me laugh so damn hard was when Morgan wrapped Mindy in a pizza box. I don’t even remember why – I think Mindy was drunk and sad about something. But I could not stop laughing. <3 you Mindy and cast!

2. A year or two ago, I discovered a very silly meme that became a favorite. Maybe you won’t find it as funny, but I giggle every time I watch it. It’s – Ryan Gosling Won’t Eat His Cereal Meme. The creator passed away this week, and Ryan Gosling filmed a brief video of him eating cereal in tribute, which I thought was really nice.
1. I received a copy of The Bourbon Kings by JR Ward in the mail yesterday (it was a surprise to me!). So of course I started it. This is a new contemporary series set in Kentucky featuring a wealthy bourbon-making family. As I write this (on Thursday) I’m on page 120 and it’s pretty good so far. Lots of storylines, but they all intermingle. And the hero is currently begging his former flame (the heroine) to love him again. And she is not having it. I like that part. It’s very soap-operay. Which so far is a good/fun thing. We’ll see how it plays out! (releases 7/28) Have a great weekend. Tori and I will be reporting from Dallas/RT next week!

For some reason I’m having visions of Bourbon Kings being like a Nora Roberts series. Not that that’s a bad thing. Just so different from BDB.

I loved the Julie James interview! I find it interesting to hear what the authors sound like after seeing them on FB & blog interviews.
As I’m a native Kentuckian I know a little sumpin’ sumpin’ about bourbon. I’m hoping she doesn’t schmaltz up this new series. I’m kinda upset with the direction BDB is taking…she better fix it. *mean face*

I didn’t – I forgot and then just decided to let it go. In short, I wasn’t a fan. I think Tori liked it a lot more than me. It was too – cheesy drama/mean characters/not enough romance.
